I had an absolutely terrible experience at Clif and Ella’s in Hawk Point, Missouri. The staff, particularly the bartenders, are extremely rude, unprofessional and common. The atmosphere is uninviting, and the food is subpar at best. This is not the first time I’ve heard of issues with this place, but I decided to give it a chance—big mistake.
What really pushed me to write this review was their complete lack of understanding of service animal laws. Upon entering with my medical alert service dog, I was immediately told to leave—without any questions asked. Not all disabilities are visible!! A service dog does not need a vest to be legitimate. A well-trained service dog is identifiable by behavior, businesses should be educated on the laws that protect individuals with disabilities.
It’s incredibly frustrating that these fake service dogs have made it harder for those of us who genuinely need them, but that does not excuse the ignorance and discrimination I faced here. I highly encourage management to properly train their staff on ADA regulations to avoid further legal and ethical violations.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. Do better.

Found this little gem Friday. Great atmosphere, and wonderful people working the Bar and Serving Great Food. Catfish special could not have been better if I had caught and cooked it myself. I really want to have a burger. They also look great. Bucket of Beer Bottles made it complete.

Love the burgers. We order almost weekly. I wish they gave more French fries with the order, though. Very nice people, the owner and staff.
