The food was good. The service was just OK. Had to ask for refills and condiments. Hard to find the entrance & a little risky turning.

Too small, tables too close, can't even have a conversation.

While the service was nice, the food was not. It was inedible and looked like noodles sat in swamp water while not tasting much better. I attempted to leave it there but our waitress was insistent on me taking it to go, even going as far as to box it for me ignoring my plea to let me do it myself. Then, I went to leave my food there because there was no way that I would purposefully eat it in of my own free will and one of there other waitresses ran after me to give me my bowl of gloop glop in my vehicle as I was driving away. Neither me nor my friend that I went with have never had food that made me feel this bad after eating only a few bites and I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to spend the next 3 business days vomiting.

Great little place with a wonderful atmosphere. The steak pepe is only available at this location and once you try it you'll want that sauce on everything.

Quite literally THE best steak I have ever had. Ruth Chris is dogfood compared to this gem in NOCO. Prices are reasonable, drinks are stoopid good and do not get me started on the service. EVERYONE I've interacted with here especially, Katie, has been nothing short of amazing. The Beef Pepe steak will make you cry, the seafood stuffed portobello is a meal in itself and just wow. The Italian stuffed Pesce is something I've never had before and highly suggest splitting that meal with someone it's quite large and perfect in every way. I come here to read, have a great cocktail and soak in the quaintness of this amazing family owned establishment. Ive heard there are other locations, however, this being the original, I am hooked. Just over all amazing

I stopped ordering fettuccine a long time ago. But this was excellent. I can't wait to go back for this one dish. I can't stop thinking about it.

This restaurant has been around since the mid 1970’s. It is in the most random location: On the other side of a fence of a cemetery down a jagged afterthought of a lane off Lindbergh by Lambert Field. Low ceilings dark light old school traditional Italian at nice prices. The last man standing in St Ann.

Very first time at this location and I was highly disappointed and felt profiled! I’ve been to the other location in st. Charles and had an excellent experience. Went because I remember the food for being awesome; we were celebrating my sister’s 40th birthday and it was everything but a celebration! We entered and was seated near the back by the bar across from the restroom in the dark were we used our phone light to look at our menus we ordered two appetizers those came out hot and they were delicious while eating the appetizers we ordered our dinner. Finished the appetizers and bread asked for refills on our waters and more bread the waitress took our same basket with our butter trash and put the new bread right on top of it! Then after that we noticed everyone around us received their drinks and salads so we got our waitress attention to let her know that my sister never got her lemon drop she literally told us she forgot and immediately went to make it the drink taste was nasty and tasted like it was made with cheap liquor! waited about 15-20 more minutes and noticed our food still hadn’t come got the attention of another waitress to find out the dinner order was never put in! We had been sitting there for almost an hour and our food was never put in is crazy. Our actual waitress never came and gave no apology, but the the other waitress offered my sister to come back on Thursday to hear Frank Sinatra. Overall we felt like black shadows in the corner! We will never come to this location again! Service was a zero and the atmosphere was tooo dark. I recommend the St. Charles location. And thanks to the African American young lady that removed the dirty dishes from the table we definitely appreciate her attentiveness and hospitality but everyone else walked pass our table like we had the cooties.

They are consistent with their food, and all staff seems to love working there.
The staff and all the food!!
The ambiance was warm and authentic, and the service was exceptional. The food was a highlight - The generous portions, reasonable prices, and an amazing menu were the key! Cocktails were great too - the best Mule I ever had! We'll definitely be returning …
