Got food and 2 shakes. Went through drive through. One shake had 3 smaller lids inside. One broken. My husband's had the piece of lid which was the piece missing from an extra lid put in mine. He about chocked on it. He also had an extra lid in his. I called Steak and Shake and they did NOTHING ABOUT IT. This was not an accident. But shouldn't be personal. They didn't know who I was. COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY IGNORED MY COMPLAINT.Place has been empty for ages now.

Half of my order was missing. Thankfully, I checked the bag before pulling off. Once I got home I was still missing meat which I had assumed was in with my pancakes. What's the point of ringing up food if you're not going to make sure that you give it to the customer.

I hadn't been to the location in months because of the service and the food was horrible. But I had a taste for the food so I took a chance and low and behold they surprised me and had great service and the food was hot and fresh.

Service was slow. Manager was loud and obnoxious. However. The food was good. Price was reasonable. I'd come back. Just don't be in a hurry or expect a nice quiet atmosphere.

The service was horrible! We stood waiting to be seated while the asst. mngr and waitress discussed who should be working. They saw us but did not greet us. The mngr finally told them to seat those "jokers" referring to my wife and sons! Really! Finally ordered. Did not receive food as ordered. Coffee never came but remained on bill despite being told it would be removed. Food was tasty but service was distasteful. Normally not this bad....usually just slow. The number of Steak n Shakes are declining rapidly thats why we were at this location but wont be again.

Steak and Shake is just a good old fashioned hamburger like it is supposed to be. They have great onion rings too and great shakes and malts. This particular location has extended hours, I try not to eat fast food too often but when I do I might drive out of my way a little bit to go to the Steak and Shake, it's that good! The service has always been fantastic and fast and the food delicious. The parking lot is very well laid out and it's easy to get in and out of the restaurant and back on with the rest of your day and isn't that part of what fast food is supposed to be about. But really the food is great and it is generally offered at a great value they have a number of $5 meals at any time and any one of those burgers is it going to hit the spot.

Stopped in here after work abt 12:45 am and the dining room doors were locked. The door says open till 2am. There is a worker sitting in there on his cell phone so my friend knocks on the window. The worker comes to the door and says yes we are open with a scold. When asked about the door being locked he said he guessed his manager locked it. I'm leaving I do not want him cooking my food mad. A man who says he is the manager comes outside after I took this pic of the door. He says he locks the door when he is counting money and he leaves at 1am. He then tells us that he works hard while the other gentleman talks on the phone all the time. They have cameras and they see this. He said they can't get the people to work. Ridiculous. We left and went to Denny's. Friendly Service and not on their cell phones.

I came with my family, had employees walk by us at the door and the manager said sometime was going to be with us, but he walked away. We were even seated and half the restaurant was empty so I'm not sure why they wouldn't seat us. My children had time to look at the toys, go to the bathroom and we waited minute or more before we walked out find another place to eat.

The service sucked. The attitude of the employees was pathetic. They seemed to believe they were there as a place to gather socially rather than provide a service as they were hired to do so. From the moment we were finally seated we felt as though we were an imposition. Sadly the person that seated us was not just the hostess, but our waitress as well. She spent most of her time laughing with her co-workers. It sounded like they were talking/texting someone on a phone. We won’t be back.
