“Had a great time. Our meals were great. Two of us had pancakes with strawberries. One had the Old Timers and the other had new Cinnamon rolls skillet. That skillet was amazing. Waiter was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed.”

She chose a birthday dinner from the Herculaneum Dairy Queen (DQ) on our way to her dance class last night. We love THIS DQ! Their team is always super friendly and courteous. The food is made fresh when we order it. This location is currently under construction, but they are still open, ready to serve their tasty food, while helping our community. The Dairy Queen Herculaneum location participates in many events to give back to our Festus-area schools, residents and charities. To name just a few: @Festus Elementary PTO @Festus R-VI School District @Jefferson R-7 PTO @Herculaneum Fire Department (toy, coat and food drive) @Kade's Playground @Autumn Ridge Residences ...and more! We admire and thank you for your kindness and support. For food…my kiddos go-to favorites are their cheeseburgers, fries and a blue raspberry-flavored “freeze”…a combination of slushy ice mixed with ice cream. Our family has enjoyed DQ birthday cakes for years. My personal favorite their ice cream cake with itty-bitty Oreo pieces inside. DQ also offers dairy-free treats, DoorDash delivery, Uber Eats and rewards/special deals through their mobile app. We are thrilled to have this establishment serving our local community. “This new location is wonderful! I visited the dining room shortly after 4am. Expecting to find the normal items, I was surprised to find this location also serves breakfast items. In fact, it wasn't until I learned of this location that I came to understanding Arby's offered breakfast.My mind had already been set on trying the "Good Burger" combo meal, which was in promotion of the movie. While I didn't care for the burger (personal preference only), I do feel that the food was fresh, well prepared, and made quickly. Separate from this, I received A+ service from Sandy, the front lobby person, who was refreshingly friendly, professional, and informative. She, thoroughly, answered all of my questions and I really felt accommodated to the fullest. Due to the above experience, I encourage everyone to visit this location so that they can have the same experience I had.”

“My daughter and I visited The Braided Bakery today for the first time and it was AMAZING!! First of all the shop is adorable!!! The people were super friendly and I’m now the proud owner of a pretzel bites addiction!!! They are to DIE FOR! I was in love with Auntie Anne’s, UNTIL today when I tried theirs!!! They are so soft and pillowy and NOT greasy like auntie Anne’s! So much better!!! We also got a chocolate chip and a gooey butter cookie that were also the best cookies ever!!! They are really thick and just have the best taste and texture!! We will definitely be back for more!!!! Thank you so much!”

“I've been going here since I was a little kid and their food is still unmatched. Old timey, diner-style restaurant with friendly service, to-die-for ice cream, and plenty of lovely memories. Also has great pricing and a claw machine I've won two stuffed animals from, which is in my opinion a good record. Highly reccommend mozzarella sticks, fries, and waffle cone sundae (mint chip is superior).”

“Ordered a veggie pizza and a salad. 4-cheese, mushroom, onion and dark olives. Not black olives, but dark Greek type olives. Pizza was Great. Only one size but enough for 2 people. The salads are made ahead of time, found in a care, but taste very fresh. Only an oil dressing is offered, but it was wonderful. We dipped the crust of the pizza in the extra oil dressing, yummy. Had the lemonade - delicious!”

“Like many of us do, we eat at a lot of different Mexican restaurants, but we feel this one by far exceeds them all. Their food is delicious and always fresh. We feel that the margaritas are the best in Jefferson County. The people who own it are friendly and our service is always fantastic. What we like about the service is if you want to hurry up and eat and leave, they will provide that for you. But if you like to sit around like we do with our friends and have pictures of margaritas and not be rushed they will allow that also. We absolutely love we are never rushed. Hands-down, it is our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Jefferson County and in the top three in the entire St. Louis /Jefferson County area. We are huge fans of the shrimp fajitas.”

“My son has autism with sensory issues and we avoided all restaurants for about 10 years since he struggled with noises and being around children. With therapy and maturity, we have worked our way to now weekly visits to Festus Fazolis. My son loves spaghetti and garlic bread and can walk around and get his own drink. It gives us all a chance to sit as a family for a quiet meal out. Thank you to the friendly and understanding staff 😊”

“I absolutely love Star Cafe. It’s one of the very few places I can take the kids, feel safe, and not feel judged if my little one is having a bad day. My favorite is when I’m indecisive and I tell the girls to just surprise me. They never fail. Such a great family owned small business! Everyone needs to try them out!”

I watched one person not know what they wanted and the owner said I know what you want, and brought some food, and that person said yes this is exactly what she wanted.
