Came into with a party of seven. We were seated right away. The place didn't appear to be overly busy. Orders were taken and it took 30 minutes to get our food. All the food came out at about the 28 minute mark. Then we had to wait seven more minutes for the last persons burrito. My sun burnt ends were dry and over cooked. Very disappointed with the slow service we received after we had plates in front of us. The normally good food was bland and over cooked.

Atmosphere was very comfortable and waitress was attentive. Chipsz and salsa were good. However the food was very subpar. Burnt ends were not anywhere close to resembling true burnt ends...just like leftover beef roast and the barbeque sauce wasn't resembling barbeque sauce. Cole slaw was room temp with too much dressing and limp cabbage. Black beans and rice were overly salted as that's all I tasted and I like salted food. The enchilada shells were not cooked and the steak tasted liked canned beef with a weird flavor. Only had one bite. Was very disappointed when I asked for the cost of my meal to be removed from the ticket and was refused as I only had one bite and returned my full meal to the kitchen. We were hopeful to find a new eating establishment but will not return.

We have great food and service every time we go! Carrie was our waitress this last time and she went above and beyond with quick service and great suggestions from the menu.

We came on July 3 so the restaurant was busy. There were 4 people in our party and after about 15 minutes of waiting, a party of 6 came in and they were seated immediately. We waited another 15 minutes and were finally seated. They put us at a table for 8 people which means we could have need seated much earlier. We waited about another 10 minutes before our server took our drink orders. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was like chewing rubber. I couldn’t even cut it with a knife it was so tough. My granddaughter ordered cheese enchiladas and they were cold. We mentioned it to the server and she said she would replace them and they would be free. The second order came out and they were also not cooked. We gave up and just asked for to go boxes so we could go home and heat the food up. When I received the ticket, they charged us for the enchiladas. I went to the area near the kitchen and told the server we were charged for the enchiladas. She went to an older male who I assume was the owner. Not knowing I was standing nearby, he said the enchiladas were warm when they were waiting to be served. And added that if the customer don’t like it, too bad. It was obvious the servers and kitchen help could not handle the large crowd. I would tell people to avoid the restaurant at all cost. It was the worse restaurant experience in my life!

Great place to eat. But always have to check our takeout order, they are super busy and things get mixed up.

Regular at this establishment and always catered to no matter how busy they are! Highly recommend the jumbo margarita or discount margaritas on Taco Tuesday

Surprisingly Great Spot in the Middle of Nowhere!
Pomme De Rita’s at Carson’s Corner is one of those places you don’t expect to love — but end up talking about the next day. No fancy lake views or touristy vibe, just solid food, cold drinks, and good people in the kind of no-frills setting that feels genuinely welcoming.
We weren’t coming off the water or looking for anything fancy — just hungry and curious — and Pomme De Rita’s hit the spot. The tacos were fresh and flavorful (seriously, way better than expected), and the burger was juicy and cooked just right. The chips and salsa— dangerously addictive.
The margaritas are where it’s at. Strong, tasty, and the kind of drink that makes you consider staying for “just one more.” Bonus points for a solid beer selection, too.
What really stood out was the service — laid-back but attentive, and everyone there just seemed to be in a good mood. Locals and out-of-towners alike fit right in.
If you’re anywhere near Carson’s Corner, don’t pass it by. Pomme De Rita’s is one of those off-the-map gems where good food and great drinks come without the fuss. We’ll definitely be back.
