Friendly welcome from the waitress on the no smoking side of the restaurant.We have visited twice and this is what we had to eat for lunch.Plentiful, fresh Chef salad ingredients. Ordered the 16 inch 4 meats pizza, crab stuffed mushrooms, all white tender chicken strips. Shared a piece of turtle cheesecake. Reasonable prices.
Peggs food is good but a bit inconsistent. You can get their roast beef sandwich one day and it’s the best you’ve ever had while the next time, it’s not good at all. Portions are also inconsistent from one order to another. Fries are extra and expensive and little portion size. The fact it’s not consistent often influences my decision to go elsewhere.
The patty melt is really good especially paired with the housemade chips. The food can be a bit inconsistent, but nothing major (The first patty melt I ordered had tomatoes. The second one didn't. It was better with them.) Will eat here again.
