I spent $30 on the fajita and tacos the other day and I won’t be back. The parking situation is not great and the food had little flavor and is probably my least favorite of all the spots I have tried in Jefferson County. I would recommend only if you want to hit a local bar spot or just really don’t want to drive to other Jeffco locations.

This was an unplanned emergency stop during a very heavy rainstorm. Had no idea that the food would be this awesome. The service was great, the Margaritas were great and the food was amazing. Had the Choripollo and wings. There was power outage while I was having dinner and it made for an interesting dining experience. Will be returning.

I'm a little conflicted about this place! The space is clean and well designed, the menu is refreshingly unique for a mid-western Mexican place, and the food is fresh. In that regard, Taco Tequila Bar is a welcome addition to Hillsboro! However, the service was a little ambivalent, and very SLOW. There is also a language barrier that makes it difficult to order. Though we were the first group to arrive when the restaurant opened and should have been in for a relatively quick dining experience, they prioritized a large group that came in after us whom they seemed to know. It took about a half hour to place our order and another 45 minutes to get our food - and unfortunately they completely forgot my daughter's lunch! The server rarely checked on us. In addition to that, my kids found the wait time excruciating! Overall assessment, the food is good but consider very carefully if you have the time to wait.
