This establishment is great with a great atmosphere!! Food is absolutely wonderful!! One of the owners (Tosha) is such a great person & if there is anything at all you have a problem with, she will make every effort to make it right: Give this place a visit.

My dad and I eat here every Saturday for a reason. Great food and friendly, attentive staff. We have family birthdays here, too.

Out in the middle of somewhere the Food was some of the best we have ever had. The service was excellent people are very friendly.. a lot of items are homemade and made to order..

I was only in the area for the weekend and luckily landed at Forrest Roots after a Google search for local dinner restaurants. The location is a little off the beaten path and other than the positive reviews online, we were not sure what to expect but it was a hit!

Upon walking in, the atmosphere immediately gave off old juke-joint vibes....just the "vibe" of it though, because the building is newer and very well maintained. There was a band setting up to play and although we didn't get to stay long after they started playing, it was great music and made me wish I could have stayed longer.

There were 6 people in our party and not one single complaint about the food. We can personally vouch for the Fried Shrimp Basket, several different burgers and the French Dip Sandwich. ALL delicious! And the service was impeccable. Our waitress, Letishia, was awesome! Fast, efficient, friendly...I really can't say enough about her outstanding service and attitude.

I would give the whole experience it 10 stars, if I could. I don't know the area well enough to make comparisons to other restaurant options but if you are in the area, Forrest Roots is definitely a "can't miss" kinda place!
