Holcomb should say “Home of Strawberry’s”!
It’s a diamond-in-the-rough of a restaurant with great food, big portions, and fair prices. People should be flocking here.
My second time here, and it’s better than I remember!
I ordered the BBQ Plate Sampler with fries and onion rings, and Broccoli Cheese Poppers as an appetizer. Knocked my socks off again!
I could only eat half, and took the rest home.
You get a couple of rooms to choose from to be seated at: one side is like a traditional diner, and the other is a lounge-type that has a bar and pool tables.
It was a delight to dine-in at Strawberry’s again; I hope to be back sooner than later!
Just out for an afternoon on the Motorcycle. We were Greeted by a Smiling staff member and seated immediately in a cozy corner, drinks mixed perfectly and the steaks were so tender you could cut it with a spoon with so much flavor. I would walk or Hitch hike across America to eat at this place again
Always love to get the porksteak or pulled pork... And I love the scalloped potatoes!
The BBQ sandwich bread was too soggy to eat. I planned on changing out the bread after I got home but ended up leaving it outside under my carport sitting on a cooler. Weird part about it was the fact that the opossum that lives close by didn't bother touching it but instead opted for past due trash in my outside trash can. The ribs were even worse without properly explaining I received a full slab of cold and what tasted like season-less ribs that the cashier said were from the day before. That threw me for a loop because times in the past I've worked in fast food management we always live by fifo first in first out. So to have ribs still available so late in the evening when everything from that day had already been sold was beyond me. The next day I called to talk to the manager and he explained that once they sell out they give customers a choice to buy older ribs that were placed in the fridge at a discount. As for the BBQ he gave an apology. I've never had an issue with anything bought from strawberries until now. $28 bucks spent on food that didn't get eaten.🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢
The best giant pork steak ever, so tender you can cut it with a fork. No k ife needed.
We went there in the slow time, about 3 o'clock on a Wednesday with the family, about 15 people. There was almost no one else in there. The server was very good! She was obviously experienced and was very attentive. Many of us had special requests from the menu and everyone's meal was correct. The food was excellent! Some of us had beers and mixed drinks were good. Most others had sweet tea, which never stopped flowing. I had the BBQ sampler, and everything was great. My wife had the famous pork steak. It was huge, thick, tender, and so flavorful! It certainly lives up to the great reputation it has had for many years.

Food was terrible. Our server really pushed the half chicken on us and said it was great. We ordered the half chicken and the BBQ plate but the chicken and pork were very dry and bland. The scalloped potatoes were cold. The side salad was just lettuce and cheese and some cracker packages. We were rushed through the whole dry meal. Don't waste your time or money here.
