So, to continue my tour of Missouri bootheel restaurants, today we hit up Corner Cafe in Holland, Missouri. I was disappointed because I wanted the catfish from the pic from another reviewer. Apparently, that is a Friday item only. So I went with the Cheeseburger and Onion Rings. (Surprise!) The Cheeseburger wasn't too shabby. The Onion Rings reminded me of the ones that Sonic has. They were good. The hubby had the Butterflied Fried Shrimp. He said they were the best he'd had in a long time. I stole one, of course and he was correct. They were fire! There place is really small, really quiet, and very clean. The service was great. Check this place out if you are ever in Holland. It's only 3 miles from the dispensary, so it's super convenient if you are into that sort of thing. Remember, be an awesome person and always tip your waitress!

Nice quiet cafe. Had breakfast,eggs, bacon, sausage combo with biscuit n gravy. Very filling. Polite and nice service. Pleasant surprise in a small town. Worth the detour from the interstate Down home cooking, hoping to come thru on a Friday for their fish fry !
