I've been eating Japanese Kitchen for years! The food is always good and the atmosphere is comforting. I have a sesative stomach and this place never has me running to the restroom. Best hole in the wall in town.

Came to Missouri for vacation came by, There was a note on the door saying they would be open on the 27th. We came back the 27th and the paper now says we’ll be back December 30th. Very disappointed drove 40 miles twice just to be disappointed twice.

Food is okay not good nor great. Soup was terrible. Whatever it was supposed to be I have no idea. It tasted like wonton soup broth but no wontons. Only broth and some green onion. Ordered hibachi chicken and shrimp. Fried rice was bland and hardly seasoned. Not very good at all. Chicken and shrimp were ok but the overall portion size for the price was very small. There was no yum yum or ginger sauce offered either.
Their shrimp is great!...but 1 shrimp rice meal and 1 shrimp noodle meal and 2 shrimp tempora sushi rolls 62 dollars..get the outa here...I paid it ..last time ever tho...

I have been going to this restaurant for many years now and have always enjoyed it, the service I use to get was excellent when Ashley was there she would go above and beyond for customers and if you asked for extra sauce she would deliver it with a smile on her face. However I went last week and it was the complete opposite service was awful they acted like I was a inconvenience being there. The sushi wasn't as good as it was before. I asked for extra sauce for each of our meals and they brought enough for 1. I sure will miss going there but I won't be back after the way they made me feel just by being there to eat a meal. When they lost Ashley they lost an amazing employee that made you feel like family it's such a shame that she felt she had to leave because of how the owner treated her and spoke to his employees, which I have also witnessed. Instead I will go elsewhere for my food and I will even drive to ozark to see Ashley and get her amazing customer service at Wise Guys now!

I’ve been a frequent (weekly at least) customer for 7 years now. I have never had one complaint about the food, even today. The food is amazing! However the service I received tonight was not. The 3 waitresses were stingy, rude, and lazy. One visibly rolled her eyes at me for asking for extra teriyaki sauce after I asked and she brought 1 sauce for the 4 meals I purchased. She said “this is all I can give you.” I don’t mind paying for the extra sauce at all but I had to ask 3 times for it. Ashley always had it covered and never acted this way or said anything similar. I will miss her greatly especially after my experience tonight.
