Rooms: Room was very small, didn’t have climate control, smell of smoke from restaurant drifted in, also sounds from patio could be heard. Restroom cramped, TP holder on back of door can fall into the toilet if not careful when opening door. Restroom not cleaned well. Soap residue still in soap bar holder, buildup in corner of tub. Water wouldn’t get hot, only lukewarm at best. Tub wouldn’t drain for hours. Minimal storage available. Left all day with request for service on door, but didn’t receive.Nearby activities: Close to Branson LandingSafety: The hand rail on the stairs was loose.Walkability: Within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, and antique stores.Food & drinks: The restaurant had good drinks. We did not eat but the food did look really good. Other customers commented on the good food, as well.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Just had their special soup and a long Island iced tea. Both were fantastic. I cook at home and cook well which makes going out to eat hard. I didn't have to season, the soup was full of flavor and so delicious!!! I give this pub a 5 star which I rarely do. Great job. Service was excellent as well.

The Inn was super cute, may have to stay at some point, but we have an RV, so may not happen. We did eat at the Downing Pub. It was good, i was disappointed they didn't have more English/Scottish/Irish beers (Smithwycks) and Scotch (Scottish) eggs. So wanted some of those, got hooked on those from a pub in Bacliff, TX that sadly closed. Now I'm always looking for English food pubs to visit...

This was a quaint, wonderful little place that I will make it a point to come back to again and again. Loved my little room (in the wing), the lounge, where you could just sit and read a book or visit with others staying the night. The FOOD at the pub below, was FABULOUS. I loved that it was NOT right in Branson.

This hotel is a great deal. I got this hotel stay on Expedia for less than $80 a night! The folks working in the hotel were super friendly and helpful. They were available when needed. Complementary coffee was provided in the morning by the hotel since there was not a coffee maker in the room. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected with a 100 yr old hotel, as the rooms were a lot smaller back then. The hotel is across from the Hollister Train Station, which, when we were there the Branson Scenic Railway was running the Polar Express Train and Santa was getting in the train to say "Hi" to all the kids. The rails are still active tracks, and a freight train did roll by in the middle of the night one night we were there. You do hear the train, but I found it to be pretty relaxing. There is no parking lot for the hotel. However, there is plenty of on street parking. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. My only recommendation and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that there are some basic things that need repair and updating, specifically in the bathroom, such as tile work and a slow draining sink.

We had a great stay at the Ye Old Inn. The dinner our first night was great!! My husband had the pork chop and I had the chicken. The bar had a nice drink menu my husband and I tried a handful of during our stay. The room was clean I like the old time bath tub. The bed was very comfy and was not to cold with the blankets provided. Watching the train go by outside the window was a plus for us.

Children are not allowed at this establishment and it is not listed on the website . Beware if you plan to stay with your family. They will rudely turn you away and leave you without options for lodging due to their lack of transparency on their website! Spoke with the manager/owner, who was very rude and not helpful. Front desk help, Stacy, was condescending and not helpful at all.

I’d give this place no stars if I could. There are many places to stay in Branson. Choose any of them other than this place. Terrible management. It’s not on their website but they will turn you away if you have a kid. DO NOT STAY

We stopped in one evening to have dinner. My fish and chips were good, but wifes potato skins were burned up with unmelted cheese over the top. The place does have a certain charm about it thou. I would give it another try, but wife would not let me.

Great atmosphere of Old England. Love the decor and mystery. Supposedly is haunted by ghosts. The original owner Mr Johnson and a little girl. We luckily didn’t see either! Comfortable beds & clean rooms. Also has a restaurant adjoining the inn. Also has a train depot across the street. Great value for the room , it was under $100! Highly recommend!

Room was cute, quaint and clean. No issues there but the temp of the shower was a complete bummer. It was NOT hot whatsoever. More like lukewarm. I looked so forward to a nice hot shower after our long drive, and boy was I disappointed. Maybe I'm a baby, and yes this is first world problems but I won't be returning bc a hot shower is a must for me. Sorry.

Rooms are on the smaller side, but comfortable! Great location, it is very quaint. Only downside is no elevator, but we survived!

The building itself is charming. Our room was clean, comfortable and incredibly quiet. We thought the price to be reasonable. The staff was very professional and friendly. We are very glad we stayed here and hope to return another time.

First, I feel like I need to try it again. My girlfriend and I were traveling through town and it sounded good from the menu online. When we arrived, they had a special that sounded amazing. It wasn't. It was presented as a steak with spaghetti (how it read) but was ground up meat (not in a good way) with bread that was a bun and just bland. It almost appeared as if they had run out of bread and thought it was an okay idea to give them two butts of a bun. At any rate, other patrons food looked much more appealing and the place was packed. I'll try it once more and update if it improves.
