Had a potential life threatening experience at Canterbury on Sept 5, 2024. My wife and I went for dinner, and were seated in a dark area of the patio. Went I bit into a portion of my salad, my teeth came into contact with something hard. I spit it out, and in the dark light saw it was a construction screw with sharp edges. If I had swallowed it, it would have cut my throat and there would have been no way to save me. I brought the screw to the attention of the manager on duty, who was sorry for the incident, but did not seem to take it seriously. We declined the free drink she offered, and left the restaurant.

We came here with our friends for drinks on a Saturday night. The drinks and the staff were both phenomenal! The bartender was super nice and talked us through their wine selections and specialty drinks. His blackberry bourbon smash was sooooo tasty! 10/10 will be back!

Amazing experience here. Wine and all drinks are awesome and a great value. The outdoor patio area is stunning. Raphael at the bar has great creative drink specials and is super kind, knowledgeable, and awesome to talk to.

Went here last night for our friend's 50th birthday party. Had 11 people in our group. Place was not overly busy but decent. The waiter took drink orders. Waters came out first and people's alcoholic drinks took awhile but didn't care too much. Then waited 45 minutes to place our dinner orders. Then ANOTHER 45 minutes to an hour for them to come out.

Out of the 11 orders, 6 were stone cold and had to be sent back. The birthday lady's steak was like leather and was ordered med-rare and had asparagus. She ordered broccoli. Steak came back very rare.

Not once were drinks refilled or even checked on. How can guests sit for three hours and not be offered a single refill?

We asked for forks and plates for the birthday cake and something to cut it with. They brought plates. We waited for forks but nobody came. So we used our dinner forks and a knife from dinner. (Still nobody has checked on us or offered a refill)

Our checks finally came and they all had gratuity added in. What a joke to automatically charge us when the service and food and overall experience was abhorrent! We've had wedding receptions here and even our own wedding here. Both instances and other dinners have been wonderful. Maybe they have new owners? But the overall quality of the staff and food has gone downhill dramatically. With the amounts they charge for their food and drinks, it's clearly not worth our time and money now.

Amazing tree top view and amazing service as well. Kora was very helpful and friendly. I had the blue dragon wine slushie and it was a good decision. I made a lot of bad decisions this weekend at the lake, so it was nice to finally make a good one. Enjoy!

The food was delicious a little slow coming out but they started getting busy and I understand. The service was absolutely horrible. We had been there 15 min before we even got a waitress to stop at our table. Had to ask three times for the glass of iced tea had to ask to get water refilled. We ran out of drinks and never got any all the way through dinner. We ordered dinner appetizers salads drinks and everything just came out random. When we talked to the manager, Lynette, all we got was a bunch of excuses about them being busy and not having enough help. We got there at 5:05 before anybody else had showed up. There were only four parties there when I asked how is that possible she blew me off and said have a good night and walked away. I would recommend this place based solely on how good the food was.

Cora was our server and she made our experience a great one! She was attentive and checked on us throughout our meal. I really enjoyed the cranberry pecan salad, and definitely recommend everyone try it.
