La Doña Mexican restaurant & Cantina

My wife and I went in and waited…and waited. No one ever came out to greet us or seat us. We finally left.

We had a great lunch there today. The Quesa Birria tacos are AMAZING!!! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Quaint atmosphere. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing. They have the best tortilla chips I’ve ever had.

The food was delicious, the portions were plentiful and the prices were more than reasonable. We will be going back often!

This is a family run restaurant right off the highway and away from the big towns in the area. Service was fast and food was hot and tasty!!!

My boyfriend has been dying to try birria tacos and was thrilled to find a local place with them on the menu. We called in the order and it was ready quickly! Everyone was so friendly when I went in to pick up the food. The food itself was FANTASTIC! He was really impressed with the salsa, and his high expectations on the birria tacos were surpassed. We will definitely be eating there again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Came here for my birthday dinner. We had absolutely terrible service. She waited until we ordered our food to tell us some of our drinks we already ordered weren’t available, then once we finally ordered our food it took forever to come out when the restaurant was far from busy. One of my friends felt uncomfortable asking for a to go box because she didn’t know how long it would take to get. Then we asked for our checks and she said okay before coming back twenty min later to tell us we pay up front. We get up front which takes an extra ten minutes to check out because the guy had no idea what we were talking about. Not counting the time we actually spent eating we were there for two hours…. Of just waiting…. Overall terrible experience, will definitely be going to the other restaurant in town.

some good street corn great prices close to home not alot places to get street corn from but kc that I know of good to know now?

This is a place that has been under a new name and new management several times, but I think they got it right this time.The new owner is personable and attentive to his customers. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the Enchiladas Supreme, a strawberry cheesecake for dessert--they were both delicious! Also had their jumbo frozen Margarita; it's s bit pricy but it's huge, and well-made.All-in-all, was quite pleased and recommend LaDona highly.

Excellent service..food was amazing!! They have menu items that all the other Mexican restaurants in the area don't have! We tried the Quesa Burria and it was ???! We have just found our new favorite restaurant in Holts Summit!

Best Mexican food in holt summit, but not only that the owners and staff are literally the nicest people you will ever meet! They treat you like family the first day, never like a customer!

Excellent service. Food arrives quickly, has excellent flavor and generous size. Salsa is phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

My husband wasn't impressed unfortunately, the beans looked like they came straight out of a can with 3 little strips of cheese on it, they went straight in the trash, the birra tacos he thought were just ok, and the tortilla chips were stayle and days old tasting trash again, wasn't worth the money, would of returned whole meal but it was a pick up and was on lunch break.

Awesome food good drinks and great service definitely will be back. also has a patio to enjoy music and and your cold beverages
