Just had carryout breakfast from Balls Family Diner. Everything was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. My overeasy eggs were cooked perfectly, as was the hash browns and bacon. Will definitely order again.
Food was good and friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

Small town restaurant, and the food to match. The loaded omelette is a meal for two. Left the place full and happy.

Walked in with a group of 10. Service was outstanding and food was great. On top of that it was our waitress first day and she did an excellent job.

Food was good, but a little pricey for me.
Chefs Salad-eggs had mold, served to a pregnant woman, asked for no ham, came with ham, lettuce was great, ranch was great.
Catfish Sandwich- Catfish batter was lacking taste, was cooked throughout though. Fries was without a grain of spice or salt, tasted like bagged fries, also forgot my cottage cheese and my chefs salad, which is probably a good thing.
Grilled cheese- soggy and soaked in grease, my young sister in law trashed this one.
Cheeseburgers- Didn’t get mayo, burger was actually pretty delicious.
This is an unbiased opinion and I’m not quite sure what the problem was, we spent $70 for 5 people, the food should’ve been fresh and tasty. I understand forgetting an item, but not 25% of our order. I firmly believe it’s not this way all the time, but in this case I only gave a star to give my opinion. 6 people total including our family, I don’t like complaining, or writing an essay to describe an organization, the indoor of the establishment was clean in the dining area, and the waiters were friendly and well presented. As for the chef of the evening, I do not have words. I wouldn’t feed that meal to an enemy and I just hope this is not a normality.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family oriented.

It is for sure a small town diner. Not the most clean or best service but it is decent food if you need a break off the road.

The food was surprisingly tasty. Recommended the hamburger steak with green beans. Green beans taste like moms. Quaint atmosphere, local conversations, sleepy little town. Friendly waitress although busy. Looks like she works alone.

Excellent food, service, quality, and value. This was our first visit to this locally owned diner, and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality of food available.
I was pleased to see art works from a local artist on display and for sale along the walls as well. We prefer to support local economies when we can, but often times find that doing that and getting quality products/service is uncommon.
Ball's provides the quality of a great diner while keeping that small town charm.

The poor waitress was obviously needing help. Only 2 people in the kitchen for a lunch rush seems a little lite to me, but what do I know? Took us 25 minutes to get our food. We never got a check because the waitress was too busy either on the phone take orders or checking people out. It literally took us another 20 minutes to check out. At this point the food is really irrelevant. But it was pretty good actually. Just gotta seriously work on the service. Of course I'm not from there either. Perhaps that's the level of service the town is used to receiving.
