After our last 2 visits we were reluctant to try them again, but after reading of their new management AND new cook, we decided to go in for a 3rd time. Wow!! What a difference! Everything was delicious!! Perfectly cooked by Tyler and brought out to us pretty quickly. For the appetizer we ordered fried pickles (a must try if you go in). Then for the meals we ordered the tenderloin sandwich meal & the all you can eat catfish meal. The portions are huge, which is always great to see. Love taking leftovers home! Tyler is an excellent cook. Very obvious that he knows what he is doing in the kitchen! I would also like to add that our server, Laila, was wonderful. Such a sweetie. She was great with checking on us and getting answers for us regarding food ingredients due to allergies. Oh, and the sweet tea was also great. Not too strong, and not too sweet. Just right. We'll be back and I hope the community supports this little gem they have!

This little hometown diner is worth the visit. Very laid back and casual atmosphere and the food is great. Everything I have ordered has been delivered to our table fresh and hot. And unlike big chain restaurants, they can cook to order. Low sodium diet? No problem here. We have family dinner here almost every Friday night. They are super accommodating, moving tables together and splitting checks for us. The wings are great, the chicken strips are great, the burgers are great, and they have hand dipped ice cream. Like any other business in a small town, workers come and go. So, yes, you may get a new server learning their way, but they are friendly and that goes a long way. They have really cleaned this place up since purchasing. I would like to see them add shakes to the menu, but we will keep going as long as they welcome us through the door.

When my party of six got there we didn't get waited on. There were 4 other parties that came in after us, that got waited on way before us. We said something, the owner just said she's working on it. The owner continued to sit there instead of helping. Finally we get waited on. We got other customers food instead of our own food. Then we only had 3 of our people in our party get there food about 15 minutes before the other 3 got there's. The owner still just sat there and apologized, but didn't get up and assist his workers. The server was unprofessional and no idea what she was doing.

Friendly service, good food, and reasonable prices!! The place was very clean, and the food was excellent. The owners/staff were really nice too. I was just passing through the area, and was glad I found this place to stop and eat!

we have eaten at Rustic cafe a few times and we have never been disappointed with the food, service or the price. Really great food. They will be open on Mother's Day so take Mom out for a good meal.

We tried Rustic Shack Cafe today and it was delicious! The staff was super friendly and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable. We had the club and a cheeseburger and they were great! Glad to have you guys in Humansville!
