Don's Family Style Buffet

Never again. Our waitress was extremely rude as soon as we sat down. We ordered 2 meals, 1 kids meal and an appetizer. An appetizer usually comes out before the meal… nope. We only ordered an appetizer to settle the kids. The chicken tender meal was all cold except the chicken. The pork tenderloin was by far disappointing. Every time the waitress came to our table, she booked away before we could ask her all we needed. The huff and puffs from the waitress was uncalled for. She literally rolled her eyes when we asked for menus. 10/10 don’t recommend.

We hunt in Moberly and this is our PLACE! I tell everyone back home in STL, they have the best fried chicken of any place, anywhere, and they need to make the drive!

Place was packed as usual. The buffet needed a little more variety to it besides fried chicken and spaghetti. But the food here is wonderful. Small townnreataurant with a big city atmosphere price was good as well. Just right for size portions i receives. Plus our young waitress was the bomb

Delicious fried chicken, some of the best I've had in a while. Leave room for the carrot cake!

The restaurant is very clean and they have hand sanitizer for the buffet.

My favorite place to eat!! It’s very well known in the surrounding areas. People drive long distances to eat there.
Lots of folks hold Family Celebrations there regularly.
The food is always excellent with many down home favorites dishes and daily specials.
I highly recommend Don’s Family Buffet!

Vegetarian options: The buffet has a large salad bar, always fresh and well stocked. There are also plenty of options for vegetables at the buffet.

Parking: It’s a very busy place so get there early or at slower times like midafternoon.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.

Wheelchair accessibility: I believe it would be wheelchair accessible.

The buffet is small. But food is hot and good. If they are out of anything on it....just come back in a few - they are bringing it out.
Better get there early cause this place fills up fast!

I would rate higher but they need to keep people informed of when they are closed down. We drove for an hour just to read a sign on their door saying they are closed for several days. They have a website and I looked at it before we left and it said nothing about being temporarily closed. This is 2024, so you’d think they would do a better job keeping the public informed.

My whole family absolutely loves Don's. The chicken is always hot and juicy, even the breast! Anytime I'm in town I make it a point to eat here.

Parking: They're always super busy so parking can get a little tight.
