I freaking love Trattoria Giuseppe’s! When I moved to Hillsborough, I did not expect to have a wonderful Italian restaurant ran by a awesome family just down the street. I will be a customer for life. If you had a negative experience, you’re probably a negative person. If you don’t like the food, find some taste buds. Jokes aside this is a wonderful restaurant and an awesome experience every time!
We would give this restaurant 10 stars. They helped our family out for a bereavement lunch and I cannot say enough nice things about the place. We didn't have as many people show up that we thought would attend. The owner and his staff were fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The service absolutely awesome. The hospitality was some of the best. Thank you for a wonderful lunch

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times over the years, and each time I’m reminded why I don’t go out of my way to have dinner here. The food is bland, it never comes out warm. The sauces are watered down, the plates are warm like they try and keep food warm on them. Each time, it’s almost a hassle to be sat, food takes over 30 minutes and it’s not worth it. Last I had the chicken Parmesan. The chicken was breaded without seasoning, and cold enough that the slice of cheese wasn’t melted on it. Then the red sauce from the pasta was watered down and got the chicken soggy. Literally any other Italian restaurant is better than this place.

The service was great, we had a very nice, friendly and helpful girl. The salad very good. The portions were large however my penne pasta was overcooked, my friend ordered pork and it was overcooked (dry). They cooked her another but I could tell the chef was unhappy that she had criticized his cooking.

4.5 out 5 stars. Located in Imperial, MO.... 21 min drive from I-44 & Rte-141. Ordered garlic cheese bread (awesome), filet mignon (perfect), Cajun seafood pasta (not enough seafood), and chicken piccata (too many capers). Portion sizes were great. Overall, worth the drive. Will try to go back if I'm in StL.

First, the food is amazing! The worst part is the service…if you have a reservation, walk-in or call in to pickup the Hostess is very CRABBY (nicest word I can think of). They need to move her to the back and have someone who knows good customer service.
