I don’t live in the area, but I do spend quite a bit of time in it. When I do I always make it a point to drive to this little gem of a place. It almost feels like traveling back in time. We have always been greeted with friendly staff, fantastic coffee and delicious ice cream for our kiddos. Service is unlike any other. Barista brings an eccentric vibe, to a very historical, and authentically artistic coffee business. We will be back. And we highly suggest the maple cabins :)
This coffee shop is a gem! Definitely worth trying out! My friends and I stopped in on our way to the Old Fire Tower near Taum Sauk. When we first went in we didn’t see anyone so thought they might’ve been closed, right when we walked out, the owner came out to greet us. She was running the store by herself and had to take a moment, understandable. I would suggest a sign on the counter for those moments.
