We decided last week to go for valentine day. Our favorite place. I ordered my Blue Mule like I always do. Worst burger I ever ate. I came plain. I had to ask for the two onion rings that’s usually on top. Had nothing else on it and not even the top of my pinky with blue cheese. Nothing else on it. For two of us to eat nasty food it costed $60. They sure ripped us off on Valentine’s Day. Never will rip us off again…. Rodney and Pam

I go here all the time. Good burgers. Meat is local from Rubels. Mule Team is a substantial burger if you are hungry. The gumbo is also good. Nice atmosphere.

I went into iron Mule Sunday night Oct 26 at 7:25pm. They close at 8. I was rushed to order as never being there before I wanted time to look at menu. After spending 20 bucks on a meal I was rushed to order because said waitress stated to another coworker that she would be in her car at 8:15 to roll out and head home. If you advertise you close at 8. You should not rush anyone coming in a half hour before close. I worked at many restaurants over the years and if you close at 8 then the kitchen closes at 8. Do not make people feel bad because they had to come in at 7:25-7:30 to order. Good thing I was done eating and out the door by 7:50. First time there and the food was delicious. I will probably give it a second chance but I was definitely feeling a disappointment in making someone else miserable because I came in 30 minutes before closing. Maybe you should not do the closing shift if you feel you need to be out 15 minutes after closing. Mind you I was swept around and mopped around while trying to eat the meal I was rushed to eat. I politely asked for a box and left.
When she asked what I wanted to order and I told her I had never been there and I needed a few minutes to look at menu. She conveniently left and walked back out, I swear 30 seconds later and asked if I was ready to order. I literally read two items on the menu. I just picked something and called it a day. My food was out in five minutes. Quick service for sure but the fact I didn’t get to enjoy it left me angry after I left. Do better.

They were short staffed and we waited a while to be recognized after seating. Food was great, but the wait was not. Hubby was ready to leave because of the delay to go somewhere else.
