Food generally tastes fine but be careful what you order. On several occasions I have ordered what I would consider fairly common Chinese restaurant only to receive something totally out of left field. On this most recent visit, I ordered Chicken chow mein which is supposed to be lo mein noodles stir fried with chicken and vegetables. Instead I received chicken and cabbage covered in some kind of sauce with fried rice. Everything else was right in our order so it wasn't a mistake but this definitely isn't Chow mein. Just keep in mind when ordering that you might get some weird golden gates version of something every other restaurant makes the same way.

The mongolian beef is nasty, very stretchy and grimy, made me feel sick afterwards plus the sweet and sour sauce tastes like cherry cough syrup, Thank God they're gonna be closing tomorrow for awhile,save others from their nasty foul food🤢

Food is always wonderful, the portions are very generous, and the owners are super nice. I always go here for the sweet and sour chicken and lo mein, I never go anywhere else because nothing beats Golden Gates !

My fav Chinese restaurant!!! The first time I ate here, they put a few free things in our bag. One being a bag of mini chicken egg rolls. Now I get them every time! They always throw in some free donuts for us too! The sweet young woman working the pick up window is always so kind and quick.

Listen, I go here for lunch at work a LOT. The lunch menu smacks. SO GOOD. I can vouch the general tso's, sesame chicken, chicken w garlic sauce, honey chicken, all the lo meins, veggies, the fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoons are all FIRE. The shrimp with lobster sauce and black pepper chicken especially, are my FAVORITES of all.
I clearly have only remembered to take pics of black pepper chicken lol. I will add more photos as I continue to go, of other things they offer. Other dish pictured in these is the chicken w/ garlic sauce.

I'd highly suggest the owner remove the outdoor rug, especially during high winds because my mother fell when picking up her order tonight and hit her head on the brick building. Due to the lack of present staff, they didn't even notice she fell/needed help.

First time trying Golden Gate and it was amazing! We got the Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice (selected spicy option) and the Chicken with Mixed Veggies, Crab Rangoons and Veggie Rolls. Everything was so tasty! The portions are very generous. We each broke our meals into 2 each for leftovers. The beef and chicken were great along with the rice. We got home and saw an extra little bag marked “free” on it as well and was mini donut like balls covered in sugar and were fantastic too! That was a nice unexpected free surprise for a dessert. Everything was about 40 bucks (but with leftovers/splitting it comes out to very cheap per meal as well.) Will absolutely be making this a regular take out option for the future! Highly recommend!

The food was really good. The only downside to the meal was the large amount & size of the onions in the chicken curry dish.
