I come in every Sunday. Most times I get the same meal for breakfast. I always ask no crispy hash browns. Most times either crispy or under cooked with liquid butter under eggs. I work in this type of business. This was ok with the old owner. I eat at many of your restaurants.

Very clean eatery.Very relaxing atmosphere and accommodating staff. Our family enjoyed breakfast there. The food was freshly made and delicious. I personally enjoyed the pork tenderloin breakfast meal. The gravy was really good and tasted homemade. I plan to try the pancakes next time. I saw some great ones served. We definitely will revisit. Next time I will provide some pictures.

But, inside the business, isca warm environment, with friendly owners and staff, who really care about your experience, and quality of your food! They have several great items on their menu, and could accommodate anybody with a special dietary need or request. The food is great, and overall, it's just a great little restaurant. Honestly, the food, appreciation, and service that you receive, makes you wish that every other restaurant put as much care and effort into your satisfaction and experience! ⭐?⭐?⭐ (At least when I had went there.)Vegetarian options: Salads, prepared vegetable side dishes, and they would especially accommodate a special request.Dietary restrictions: If you have restrictions, you typically order within your limitations. However, if you needed the food to be prepared a certain way, such as the meat being ground, or even pureed, I assume that your needs could be met in that.Parking: They do a good business, so there's normally several people there. But, there is enough parking to accommodate everybody, especially if you can ride there together. They do have handicao parking, and can convert any table to accommodate a wheelchair or whatever else may be needed.Kid-friendliness: Most definitely! But, I always say the same thing. All children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. This is a family dining place, and for ALL children's safety, all children need to protected, as THE WORLD is not quite a safe place. So, it's my concern and opinion that ALL children get a little supervision than what they typically do. This restaurant has child dishes available, and provides a safe environment. But, you can't be TOO safe anywhere; anymore. It's best to be more cautious, and not assume anything really.Something that may need to be monitored, is the food's temperature. This restaurant serves food hot, and a parent, or guardian may need to allow the food to cool down a bit, before a child can eat it safely.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is provided, and about all the tables-seating can be modified to accommodate people with wheelchairs, machines, ect. The staff and owners will make arrangements if needed.

It was the first time stopping in (for both of us]. I had an appointment in a nearby town. Found the steakhouse on the internet.Great place! Convenient location. Plenty of parking. The place was clean & the table didn't wobble. The food was generous, cooked well, & served hot. I had the Brisket Dinner! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My friend had the Fr. Dip! Also highly recommended!Service was fast &waitress was friendly. (And THANK YOU for NOT asking & being overly irritating with "Is the food still tasting good?" 50 times during our meal.) Whoever made up that line needs to bury it! LOLOL ☺️We enjoyed our meal.We WILL be back & and the Hickory House will definitely be a suggestion for a meal to our friends.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Dietary restrictions: Portions were generous. I had stomach surgery, so it was a lot of food.

Food is always great. Staff is friendly and attentive. Never any long waits. Edit****** 4 years later. If you show up with kids and are waiting on one person to show up. Staff will make you wait. You will not get a seat untill everyone is present. They won't tell you this though untill you get tired of them seating other people ahead of you and ask. Then you will rudely be told the policy. Still really good food though.
