We stopped by for "Soul Food Sunday"
The food was delicious!
Service was great A-1!
I ordered Turkey Chops, Mac&Cheese, Dressing and Sweet Potatoes.
My daughter ordered Baked Chicken, Mac&Cheese, Sweet Potatoes and Carmel Cake.
Definitely worth every penny👌🏾

SO GOOD! Got the wings and fries and they were so delicious. I recently moved to Van Alstyne and was bummed I live so far away from food options but that’s definitely not the case. This will definitely be a go to take out spot!

They never have chicken have called 3 times 3 different days one day as soon as they open 8am another mid day like 12 and the last day at 2pm. Food I did get was ok nothing great

Food was absolutely amazing , with generous proportions, wonderful seasonings, and served hot and punctual.. The dining area was super clean 👌, spacious seating , and laid back atmosphere.. Definitely worth it, bc when it was all said and done I didn't spend anymore for real food made fresh there, instead of the nasty same ol that been sitting in the warmers all afternoon..

While ordering take out lunch. I wasn't pleased with the lack of respect of the 4 men present while sitting at the counter. One of the men was behind the counter so you wouldn't expect the foul language by a worker. Freedom of speech doesn't exclude being disrespectful especially in a business. I chose to wait in my vehicle part of the time because didn't care for the cussing done just for regular conversation. First impressions are very important in business. I spent about $30. Will I visit this business again, not likely. The food ordered wasn't the best. The lamb was very not tender. Thank You.

Upon entering the resturant the atmosphere is very open and very clean. Customer service here is normal. When I arrive the lady to take orders was on the phone however she quickly put her call on hold in order tobservice us with a smile. My husband had a few questions about the chicken and lamb Philly which the lady gave a rank scale of it. This lead to my husband ordering the lamb Philly with cheese fries and I ordered the 8 wings (garlic parmeasan and honey harbenaro) with normal fries.

I knew my husband enjoyed what he bit into when he smiled after the first bite. The fries on both meals were well seasoned crinkle fries fried to perfection. My husband lamb Philly was also well seasoned with a buttered hoagie bun. The meat was tender and very palatable.

The wings that I had was perfectly fried as well. The wings were slightly bigger than party wings. The mango harbenaro was exactly that flavor and not to be confused with honey hot. The sauce taste very home made fresh and hot. The garlic parm wings were also delicious more garlic than parm on the flavor with I have no issue with. I want to let you know that the garlic parm wings are WET. Overall I wanted to give this place a 4 out if five however I could not find a flaw therefore this place is a 5/5 I would eat here again. Portions that they give are fair for the price. Worth every dollar.

Burger was no good and they skimped on the meat. Tripe was cool but I ate it without the bread cause they toasted it with heavy oil add that to a greasy tripe. I felt like I was drinking the grease out the sandwich.

They charge you whatever they wanna charge you because each item was $2-3 more than it said on the menu when I looked at my receipt. I asked about it, said they need to update their menu and prices. Ok cool..

Here it is two months later, they have new menus posted but I guess they still didn’t update their prices because on the menu it said $8 for the sandwich I wanted, but it rang up as $10..Bait and switch real bad

Door & Uber eats say the open for lunch at 11. Apparently they DONT!!! & wait 20 mins before cancelling your order!!!

Man food is fire service is not. Kinda expected it tho I could tell when I talked to the girl the phone what I was getting into but I really like they food so I’ve been back 4-5 times at least. Chicken Philly, lamb Philly, wings are all fire. Even the burgers good just wish they had better service
