I ordered the hamburger steak which hit the spot, it was really good ?. Our waitress, Brisa, hasn’t been working there long but she was very nice and was always making sure that we had everything we need. I would DEFINITELY go back again ??.

Nice thing about crossing the country on secondary and tertiary roads is finding small towns & meeting new people. Enter Kennett, Missouri, and John's Waffle and Pancake House. Friendly & incredibly efficient service at this clearly popular local spot. The hostess hands you a buzzer that goes off when it's your turn. I had fluffy hot scrambled eggs, hash browns done extra crispy as requested and rye toast. My companion had the "Gypsy Skillet" - fancy hash browns with ham, onions, mushrooms & cheddar. Coffee was fresh and hot - a bit bland - but honestly the whole experience was so good - the general mood in the place was upbeat and positive - have to give it highest marks. Thanks John's!!!

I love our little Waffle House!!! The staff is so so so friendly and genuinely interested in taking care of you. The food is fantastic, I don't think I've had anything I don't like. They have a full menu all day, it's family and very kid friendly. They accommodate the town's swim team on mornings when it's too cold to get in the water. The prices are more than fair. The wait times aren't long and it's not just fast food, you leave full and happy.
