My boyfriend and I went to eat dinner here last night. It wasn't very busy at 7pm on a Saturday, so we figured we would get our food pretty fast. We waited for 45 minutes for our food. We watched the couple next to us receive their appetizer and meals at the same time, and watched another couple leave after being seated at their table for 10ish minutes without being spoken to by anyone. Finally, we noticed that a couple who arrived 20 minutes after us, and who had a different waitress, received their food. At that point it was 7:45, and we decided that our waitress forgot to input our order. Since we had only received water at that point, and we hadn't seen our waitress for 15 minutes, we decided to just leave. We went down the street to a much much busier restaurant, we were seated immediately, and it only took a little more than 20 minutes to receive our food. I do not recommend Bar Louie if you're already hungry, or if you need to be anywhere within a couple of hours. You'll need to have time to kill, for sure.
Edit: Bar Louie, how about you copy and paste the review, and send it to your customer relations email to look into the issue. You responded as "Bar Louie - Kirkwood" so you already know which location the review is referencing. Geez, I can see where that lousy customer service originates. ?

Had one of those ruff days and went in for a drink becca was awesome and the manager made me feel so welcome even tho they were very busy. Great service wonderful staff. Recommend this place to and lonely soul. Had the Salmon sliders as well that were just perfect.

Gave this place 1 more try and service was horrible, per usual. The place was 1/2 full, got seated and after 18 min of not a single server coming to our table, we got up and left. Place is horrible.

I spent 35 minutes inside the establishment and was never waited on. I came to get brunch to celebrate my 21st birthday. We had driven all the way from De Soto. When we walked in it took 5 minutes to be greeted and told to sit anywhere. It was nice enough so we decided to sit outside. After 20 minutes of waiting someone finally came outside to take care of 2 other tables and looked over multiple times but did not acknowledge my group. We moved inside to hopefully get someone’s attention, but after 10 more minutes of waiting we finally left. This is the worst service I have ever received anywhere.

Stopped at Bar Louie for a quick workday lunch. Grilled chicken Caesar salad was delicious and perfectly portioned. The chicken was grilled and seasoned with great flavor and the salad dressing was perfectly enough without drenching the salad. It was perfect. Service was great. My server greeted me within 5 minutes of being seated and made sure I was in and out within 45 minutes. I tried the fried donut holes which were good but not as good as some other places I’ve had donut holes. I’d give this place 4 stars.

First off I want to apologize for a difficult party. We changed tables twice after my husband asked to have one since we had 5 people. Then we had 6 and asked for another table. It is always an issue with my inlaws. Food was fantastic, our hostess was amazing and I applaud your patience with us.

Very disappointed! The chips for the dip trio were stale. The gourmet grilled cheese was so so, had better before. Cheese wasn’t melted. My chicken strips were burnt, and I like mine extra crisp, but these were too much even for me. My husbands order came out 10 minutes after the rest of the table and had no flavor.

We attempted to dine here, twice, last weekend. We were initially seated outside, waited for about 30 minutes without anyone coming back, then spoke to the hostess, mentioned that no one had come by, and got seated inside. After another 15 minutes a waiter dropped off some menus and said someone would be right with us. 15 minutes after that we decided to give 4 Hands our business instead. The place was maybe half full if I'm being generous, and there seemed to be a lot of staff around, so I really have no idea what was going on. The problem is that it seems other people having been having the same experience, and the last time we were here a year ago, service was painfully slow but at least we managed to order that time.
