Hi-Pointe Drive-In Kirkwood

I was out shopping and decided to get a late lunch at White Castle. The wait was too long, so I tried the nearby Sonic drive-thru. The wait there was also too long, so I decided to just head back to my daughter's home. On the way, I saw a Hi Point restaurant that my daughter had previously mentioned had the best burgers in St Louis. She was indeed correct. The smash-burger-style hamburger had crispy edges and a perfectly cooked center. You get to order exactly what you want on the burger, and they served me an outstanding strawberry milkshake to wash it down. I also enjoyed a small side of chili. A great lunch overall, and I can't wait to return. Maybe tomorrow. UPDATE-1: Returned the next day for lunch and had a double cheeseburger with jalapenos, lettuce, and onions. Terrific lunch. My wife had a hot dog and mac and cheese. I sampled both and can recommend them. UPDATE-2: We spent the last two days determining whether the burgers at Culver's or Hi-Pointe was better. The verdict is in. Hi-Pointe is definitely better.

Food is incredible, service is on point, and the vibes are tremendous

I ordered ahead online and I got there right at my pickup time and the food was ready when I got there! My burger was fantastic and the service was very good!

Seriously, the best burger I've ever had. Definitely try a burger with pub cheese on it.

Worst location. Staff in back is horrible. Front order taking was fine but the back was having too much fun talking instead of making ppl food. Adam's apple conversations should not be going in while your making burgers and communicating orders. Hugging touching stuff and other with same gloves the food was touched with. I waited 30 min for my food and there was 1 couple in front of me. What happened to good service and good food. Burgers were not good either.

A friend and I decided to stop here and have dinner.
It's cute restaurant the inside is really nice. You have the option of high top tables, regular height tables and booths.
My friend had the frisco melt burger. She said it was really good but she thought they had a little bit too much garlic on the toast but otherwise she loved her burger. I had the double cheeseburger and it was delicious the only thing that I could say was maybe less salt on the meat otherwise it brought back memories of when my grandfathe. After he would get done bowling he would come home and have these hamburgers that looked and tasted just like hi point.
Employees were very nice. Service was fast. French fries were good too. We were too full to try a milkshake but they sounded good.

Best people making the best grass fed burger!!! Dripping with condiments lettuce tomatoes onions! GREAT CREW! Fries are not great, obviously pre frozen . Love this place!

Mediocre burger with exuberant price! The 1 lady that clears tables constantly extra friendly while younger staff don’t give a f! For me, Culver’s which is just down the street is better and cheaper too.
