I just moved from Europe to America and I could never find a dessert worthy of my taste. This place literally brought me to the peaks, I said I would definitely come back with every bite I took. And I wonder if there are other branches where I will try all the desserts one by one. As soon as you enter, you feel warm when you see the smiling face of the employees with a warm atmosphere, I definitely recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This bakery has the best croissants in town! The four cheese quiche is my favorite breakfast — so creamy, flavorful, and fresh. Everything here tastes amazing, and you can tell it’s made with care. Highly recommend this place!

Nathaniel Reid Bakery in Kirkwood is hands down one of my favorite bakeries ever! Every pastry, cookie, and tart they make is absolute perfection — you can truly taste the care and quality in every bite. My personal favorite is the almond crescent — buttery, flaky, and simply irresistible. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Such a gem of a place!

There is simply no parallel to Nathaniel Reid! Favorites by far are the kouign amanns - buttery, crisp, and caramelized - and the quiches, which are light, silky, and full of flavor without being too rich. This is the bakery that you visit on a warm Saturday morning that makes you happy the moment you walk in and sets you up for success the rest of the day. Everything here feels both comforting and refined. You can taste the quality ingredients and the love that goes into every bake.

Nathaniel Reid has some of the best sandwiches in STL. They are all made with the most delicious bread and high quality meats, cheeses, and sauces. The turkey sandwich especially is my favorite. The staff is especially welcoming and kind every single time I go in. This place is the best!!

Michelin quality pastries in St. Louis suburbs? I was surprised too. Just wish it was slightly larger to allow for indoor seating. Problem is you have to get there early before the good items are taken, as it appears to be limited run daily.

I feel very fancy right now. Greyere, yellow cheddar, Havarti, and Parmesan cheese, baked into this buttery crust is now floating around in my belly. You would feel fancy too. This is Nathaniel Reid bakery’s four cheese quiche. We didn’t stop there. We got a chocolate chip and pecan cookie and several macaroons. Two-time James Beard Awards semifinalist for Outstanding Baker (2019 and 2020). Sign yourself up and check this spot out. Also, as soon as you walk in the door, everyone behind the counter is greeting you. It’s so nice to feel so welcome.

Quirky location and the place is waaay to small (in my opinion), but wow, the food is fantastic! If light, delicate pastries are your thing, get over there! Get a croissant no matter what!!!

Nathaniel Reid Bakery has been on my want-to-go list for a while so my husband treated us with a visit this morning for my birthday 🥰 All I can say is: incredible. Even though everything we tried was amazing, I think the Ruby was the star of the show. We saw so much more we wanted to try so we'll definitely be returning! And even though it was fast-paced, everyone was so nice.
Tip: go as early as possible!
Also, cash not accepted.
