Visiting from out of town and got together with friends/family for drinks and reminiscing. Someone brought goodies from SMALLCAKES! WOW; I'm a customer for life. Had to go to the shop to get more. So pleasing to look at and even more pleasing to eat! Keep up the great work.

I didn't expect much because I know it's a chain, but YUM! My sweet tooth took over so I tried several. Favorite by far is the vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream (and I generally don't like chocolate buttercream). Close second is the chocolate cake with pink buttercream. Tried the vanilla with fudge icing - was a bit too much fudge for me - and the chocolate cake with buttercream filling and fudge and buttercream icing, which was quite the sugar rush. Too much sugar for even me! Look forward to stopping here each time I visit the area.

I ordered personalized cupcakes for a themed birthday party and I am so happy with how they turned out!! I gave my theme and Lauren sent me several options matching the theme! I loved the options she sent! It was amazing service! I will absolutely be ordering in the future for more parties and celebrations!

Just finished lunch and saw Smallcakes in the same shopping center as our restaurant. Smallcakes is a quaint place with an assortment of delicious cupcakes. We took home a 6pack and we're pleasantly impressed with what we found.Smallcakes staff were very patient with us and explained every product. It's a popular place as the store was filling up with customers who are also looking for a tasty treat.I do recommend Smallcakes and when in the area will stop in and pick another round of cupcakes!

I was there over the weekend and my cupcake was fantastic! The icing was healthy! Light fluffy and not too sweet, the cake was tender and paired perfectly with the icing! 10 out of 10

My husband stopped by to grab my favorite, wedding cake cupcakes. These were not wedding cake flavor. There was no almond extract whatsoever. It was a plain white cupcake with plain buttercream. The sugar pearls on top were practically inedible. They were like rocks and we picked most of them off. The cake was super tender but that's all it had going for it. This was the first time we tried this location and now we know which one to not go to.

What a wonderful little shop. The lady even asked what kind I liked and made me one special since there wasn't a cake with that combination out. Delicious cakes and great service! I'll be back for sure! They also make specialty cupcake cakes! I want to get one made for a special occasion!

Best of the Best....For graduations, celebrations, showers or just because, this is your place. They have 3 different cupcake sizes (small, reg and lg)...they also have pup/doggy cakes...my dog luvs them! The huge variety of cake and icing flavors are endless. If you prefer lighter icing, they can...heavier, yep...they can. The costs is average...to me, not as expensive as some others. Which is why I'll make the drive to Kirkwood...plus, the cakes are so freakin delicious! You will not be disappointed, promise! Also, Starbucks next door!!

Delicious pastries! They say the mousse treats are supposed to be refrigerated within an hour of takeout, but mine survived hours of driving with no issues. Long line, but it moves quickly.
