Well I’d love to be able to tell you how the smoothie tasted but I can’t because I never received it.I placed an order on December 30th while apparently the store was closed. Online ordering allowed me to place said order and Google stated the store was open until 9. The store wasn’t open when we came by to pick up the smoothie bowl. I have called, sent a review straight to the smoothie king website and called the store multiple time to leave messages and still have not been contacted or refunded. I even tipped them!!!!!! I’m not really sure what kind of business can charge you, never give you the product, and never contact you for the refund of the product. I’m very upset with my experience and likely won’t ever visit the Kirkwood location ever again.Edited to add: I saw that this business has responded to someone else about a similar experience and asked they reach out to them directly through the website. I want to be clear that this is a step I have already taken and would not like to be offered that advice since I already did that.

I went into the smoothie king because I an appointment in the area. I walked in and Kai, I believe her name is, was so pleasant with me. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is definitely beautiful in the inside. You can just tell with people. Went there last night at 730pm, was questionable from the parking lot if open but sign stated on, walked in door, not a sole around, stood there for a minute or so and someone finally comes from back and before I can even say anything very rudely says we are not taking anymore orders. Why be open if you are not taking orders? She proceeded to follow me out the door and leave. All signs still on stating open and hours posted were they are still open. Now in looking at other reviews seems this is standard for this location and must be ok with it. Won’t ever be back.

The people that work there were friendly, though it took almost 40 minutes just to make 2 Acai bowls. Not sure if the guy behind the counter was new. Finally someone came to help him, but by that time the first bowl he had made was already melted. They then had to make me a whole new bowl. For $31.00 it was pretty ridiculous to have to wait this long.

Random 34$ charge on my credit card when I'm in New York and my card is with me, i have never stepped foot in this hellholle meaning the charge was manually input and rung up vía their system. Thieves!!!!

The last few times I've tried to come up to the kirkwood location, this morning about 10 minutes ago was the most recent. The doors locked but everything's on and the hours say they should be open. Kinda disappointing thats happened the last 3 times within 2

Was greeting with a lovely smile and enthusiasm by a single employee named Kai. She was fantastic. I ordered 2 smoothies right before 3 more parties and a HUGE group of middle schoolers came in. I asked her if she had help and she smiled and said "No, but it's no problem!" And proceeded to continue with her work, alone, with a smile and greeting for everyone, including the 10 middle schoolers with varying gift cards. I dont care how long my food takes to complete as long as there is a pleasant face preparing it. I was treated horrebdously at this location the last time I went, and was praying the same worker was not there when I walked in to pickup for a friend. No more. New favorite location and lunch destination. Thank you, Kai (Kye)!

Ordered online at 3:45pm. Went to pick it up by 4:00. The store was locked but lights and open sign were on. I waited 20 minutes and knocked and called numerous times. I never got the smoothie (even though there were some sitting in the to go area) and was charged for it. I haven't had luck reaching anyone to get a refund. I tried multiple ways to contact them.

I'm not really sure what's going on with all the bad reviews but I had a fantastic time at this smoothie king. The workers here were SO nice for no reason, and they made my smoothie exactly how I ordered it. The place had a very calm atmosphere and I had a great time there on my break! I would definitely get a smoothie from here again.

We tried to get smoothies on two different occasions within a week before closing, once at 8:45 and then at 8:15, and the staff was "closing early." They weren't supposed to close until 9. We also watched the staff turn away three other groups of people. Obviously we won't return, but as a business owner I would want to know this and rectify the situation.

Went to order a smoothie for my wife, and I. While trying to order there were 2 girls in the back discussing "non work" related things pretty loudly. The guy taking my order asked them to stop while there are customers in the store and proceeded to apologize. They continued their gossip as well as then mocking him about having customers in the store while making their own little song about it. It was very disturbing and awkward while waiting for my smoothies and created a very uncomfortable feeling while being there. The least they could've done was help the guy make my smoothies.. but they had better things to do. Pathetic.

This place doesn't even deserve any stars. Its constantly under staffed and take over an hour just to grab a couple of smoothies. I do not recommend coming here if u want to be out of here fast. Their smoothies are loaded with so much sugar.

Horrible customer service. I went to store , the young guy told me to come back because he had online orders, I come back he’s rude saying he’s working alone, but there was 2 other associates hanging behind the counter. Very unprofessional. Date 4/28. Horrible Service, will never recommend this location.
