This is one of our all-time favorite spots. The service is truly second to none. We’re there almost every Tuesday with two very messy toddlers, and every single staff member goes out of their way to make us feel welcome - helping with anything we need and even jumping in to help clean up. On top of that, the food is incredible and absolutely unbeatable for the price. We’re so grateful for everything you all do.

Terrific. The best taco shop.in STL

Not a single thing here I could complain about. The Del Rio contains some of the best brisket I've ever tasted and the perfect amount greasy goodness dripping off every bite. The lettuce is dark and crisp and the red onions taste great even for a guy who doesn't enjoy the taste of onions, even the Queso is simply better than average. Oh and Pork Carnitas are equally tasty and complete The Taos taco perfectly. Honestly, the margarita is a little weak but they do offer add-ons so it's not that big of a deal for a frozen happy hour drink. The host is wonderful and the kitchen did an excellent job on the food prep. Plus the price is better than 80% of your average Mexican Dinner spot. Another notable thing is the variety of seating options available. Everything from Bar, table, or booth to full outdoors and covered outdoors.

Good food. Good vibes. We had a big group and they make it easy to order. Salsa was great. Chips were salty but I don't mind. Great portion sizes. Delicious choices.

Update, 1-3-26, chips not as salty but remain tasty.

Finally!!! Our family moved back to STL after spending nearly a decade in Texas. After being spoiled to good Mexican cuisine at every turn, we knew we had to find a go-to spot for tacos and margs in St. Louis. Enter Taco Buddha! It’s been a long 6 months of trying some sub-par options around town but we finally found a place that we loved and will return again and again.

Service: We were immediately greeted with a smile and assistance and led to a table on the patio. The hostess was very helpful with walking us through the process and the food was delivered very quickly after ordering.

Food/Drinks: Fantastic! We ordered the dip trio, frozen margs, and the Del Rio, Baja, and McCausland Tacos, all of which were so fresh, flavorful, and tasty. The margaritas were spot on and reminded us of some favs from our days in DFW. We usually go with a marg on-the-rocks but are so glad we gave the frozen a try. It did not disappoint. Queso and guac were delicious and served fresh and seemingly homemade.

Ambience: The restaurant is modern, fun, and very clean. It felt casual but special all in the same breath. (Also kudos to the playlist that kept the vibe playful and fun throughout.) We felt totally comfortable on the patio with our two small children and appreciated how accommodating they were to kids. Even their kid water cups were the perfect size for small children to handle.

Only critique— it was slightly hot on the patio with the heaters going but we were also sitting right under one of the heaters on a sunny January day.

Thanks for being so delightful, Taco Buddha! We’re relieved to have found you!

If it wasn’t for the QR code ordering system this would be 5 stars. It was too complicated for my older companion which was off putting to her. In the restaurant’s defense we did not ask for an alternative solution. I just ordered for her on my phone but she really wanted to pay so it turned into a thing. An unnecessary thing that tarnished an otherwise great experience.
