Stopped in today to try something new and could not have been more disappointed. We bought the flight, and a medium love your neighbor. The flight was completely watered down. There was nowhere to sit so an employee took us to the back of the building to a table outside. If you expect people to sit outside you should have heaters.🙃I understand that seating is out of their control when busy, but watered down drinks are unacceptable when you’re charging $20 for a flight.

I come here every morning before work and the coffee is always amazing. As a Vermonter I also love maple syrup as a sweetener option!

The bagel sandwich was excellent, the lavender latte was good (a little sweet for my taste), but the pourover was really disappointing. It tasted like burnt drip coffee you can get in an office.

🤩🤩 This is my favorite coffee shop of all time. Everything about it is perfect. It’s adorable, the staff is amazingly friendly and treat me like an old friend. The menu is *chefs kiss*, it’s homey beyond belief and it’s the perfect place for everyone. Kids (a moment for the kids space upstairs?! It’s amazing) , remote workers (free WiFi), friends getting together. It’s perfect. The love your neighbor might just be the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had. I love this place!!!

I ordered a plain bagel with egg and cheese. They were out of plain cream cheese, so my husband passed. They gave me a pager. At some point they called my name but since my pager went off we figured it was a different order. At some point, I asked about pagers versus name calling and was told they use pagers for food orders. But there had been a bag up in the window which seemed unlikely to have a drink in it, so my husband then went up to check only to realize that the name they called 10 min earlier was, in fact, mine. Pager never went off. We got in the car and when I checked the sandwich it was on an everything bagel rather than plain and had meat on it. I went back in and they remade it. We waited over 10 min. At about 5 min (it was just a thin scrambled like egg w a piece of cheese), I was told it was coming. Again, at some point another 5 min later, I walked to the window (actually, I was right next to it but was standing in a doorway so couldnt see the window). There was a bag up on the window ledge and sure enough was mine. They NEVER called my name at all. So if I had not kept checking I would not have known it was there. Over thirty min to get that one sandwich was not bad but nothing special at all. Overcooked cheese, almost like it was heated in the microwave (the way cheese looks at the edges when its microwaved) and a not-that-fresh bagel.

Great little coffee shop. The breakfast scone was a treat. I'm glad for the business that they're really popular, but it does make for very close quarters.

I don't like giving bad reviews but I drink a LOT of coffee and Teleo is not a place for coffee lovers on a weekend. Granted we went on a Saturday late morning in Kirkwood, which locals know is crazy. But let's break it down.
First of all the coffee was wrong. Mine was supposed to be a black full Columbian but clearly had significant Ethiopian content. I saw her draw it out of the urn labeled "Columbian", but it was not. My daughter's cold concoction was an unexpected color and she said it wasn't very good.
Normally, I would adjust expectations during a busy time, but the primary reason they were backed up was because they were only putting out a beverage every 3-5 minutes. So, they had a tremendous back up and wait time. No one could hear the orders being called out because of the noise, so everyone was just bumping up against each other trying to see if the next one was theirs.
The atmosphere is more difficult to rate. Decor-wise, charming and probably lovely in slower times. But, in part because of the backup of people waiting for their order, it was LOUD on the first floor. There is no actual waiting area, so everyone was fighting to figure out where the ordering line was and where to stand to wait for their order. There were just 5-6 tables in the main room and low sound-reflecting ceiling there just had everyone yelling their conversations. There was an upstairs that others said was full, so I didn't go up there.
It was obviously popular, but I'm not sure why. Again maybe a totally different experience on a weekday.
