This was such a refreshing change from our usual SBux - fantastic butter toffee latte - plus a few delish bakery treats... But, what you MUST try - are their signature potatoes!! WOWIE --- Uber Yummmm... Plus this restaurant supports a wonderful cause!!! I will pick this place over and over for a much more fulfilling experience - and to support a local small business! Great ambience -- Look forward to going again :)

Stopped in for coffee and pastry. The selection of baked goods was disappointing so I ordered breakfast. Coffee, 1/2 biscuit w/ gravy and 2 eggs was over $15. And was mediocre at best, very salty. Too many other places nearby to warrant a return visit.

My family's favorite spot in Kirkwood! We got here every weekend for breakfast. The potatoes are awesome, breakfast comes out cooked just right.
Such a great mission, a great place to run into your neighbors, and we love walking to from home.

Wow! This place is awesome, you can’t tell from the outside but the inside is modern and clean. It’s a really nice place to take friends and family that are visiting. You seat yourself but they pick up your dishes when you are done eating. The danish is the best I have ever had, cinnamon rolls would be a killer with the same dough. They also have ice cream. I can’t wait to go back!

I always stop by here before my train ride out and the service is incredible! Plus I love the dirty sodas. Awesome place and will come back again and again :)

First time visiting and it was such a cute place. Good menu variety and portions were plentiful. Would definitely return when in the area again.

Can't seem to get cupcake or macaroon orders right even when you order nearly TWO WEEKS in advance. Avoid this bakery at all costs.

Excellent unique breakfast fare. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Only downside is that a worker sprayed me with cleaner as he was cleaning the table next to us.
Their pioneer potatoes are amazing, sausage and biscuits are phenomenal! I will come back!

Let me start by saying, the food is wonderful. My negative experience has nothing to do with that.
During our meal, a server just came over and grabbed condiments from our table, and then asked if it was okay. Were we using them at the time? No. But there are empty tables she could have borrowed from instead of reaching over our food and interrupting without asking first.
We ordered a blended mocktail, in addition to coffee and our food. We waited and waited for my daughter’s beverage, and when I asked, they kept telling me it was coming. We finished our meal and she still hadn’t received her drink. I went to the bar/counter and the manager was there, who I had already spoken to previously about the situation. I approached him kindly and just expressed my frustrations. I told him how great our food was, but we were STILL waiting on her beverage. He told me he didn’t know and would find out. 10 minutes later, still nothing. I approached the baristas and the cashier said “I made that, someone must have taken it”.
We eventually got our beverage, but I never received an acknowledgment or apology about the situation.
I know it probably won’t matter to the establishment that I never come back. I hate that because the experience ruined my delicious meal.

This was honestly worse than gas station coffee. Both coffees tasted like flavored water and some how ruined a hot chocolate as well
Overall, this is a fine place for a quick breakfast in downtown Kirkwood. The food came out very quickly, and although not everything was a hit, I recommend getting the short rib hash if that’s up your alley!
FOOD: We split a strawberry lemon pudding donut, which was tasty and a unique texture. Definitely puddingy! I got the meat quiche, which I’ll say, was a little smaller than I had expected. The eggs were also a little runnier than I would want, but the taste was good. My partner got the short rib hash, and THAT’S the way to go! It was so filling and so flavorful. I definitely recommend that one.
SERVICE: Counter ordering, like a lot of places nowadays with the iPad. Easy enough and food came very fast too.
AMBIANCE: They have plenty of seating, both on the main floor and on the upper floor. Very well lit and a variation of booths and tables.
PRICE: Total came out to $47 for two bottomless coffees, a pastry, and two entrees. The hash is worth the price but the quiche was a little less than expected.

Food is ok, but overpriced for what you get. Chicken sandwich was mostly bread with old lettuce. Chips were too salty to eat. Paid $45 for two sandwiches and a latte. 30 minute wait for takeout.
