Rose is amazing in the breakfast area, front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Wish nutrition info was available for diabetics. That was our only problem. Location is good for stay to see our daughter in college. We will stay there again, especially if Best Western continues to offer incentives.

Clean room. Check-in staff was great. Onsite restaurant was great. Room was nice with additional patio exit. Furnishings were in good shape and appeared clean. Power went out, not their fault, but no lights, no coffee, no breakfast. No refund.

The power went out during my stay which was not the hotel's fault, however the hotel had no back up power generator. This means you had to try to find your way down stairs in the dark which is unsafe especially in the stair wells. I called the corporate number to report the problem but they didn't seem to care about no emergency lighting or not being able to leave the room because electronic locks would have locked me out.

Dirty Tub with a couple spiders included in it! Room hadn’t been vacuumed/serviced, when I asked for another room they wouldn’t accommodate. When I asked if someone could come clean the bathroom, they gave me a bottle of windex and a towel to clean it myself. Needless to say I checked out of the best western the same day, all I got from the host was a “Sorry about that”

Room was terrific: comfortable bed, clean, everything worked, blinds actually kept light out, etc. Check in & out was smooth. Now the negatives: 1) I told the staff TWICE (once upon making reservation on the phone and again at check in) that I wanted late check out (could only get an extra half hour, 11:30 instead of 11 a.m.) but they did not note it like they should have. Because of this, my room key did not work for the fitness room between 11 and 11:30 a.m. and I had to ask at desk to be let in. 2) Dogs barked for an hour or so, right when I was trying to get my last hour or two of sleep, because the food delivery truck pulled up too close to guest rooms and was too noisy going about their business. I did not complain but other guests did, and I think the hotel should have offered to refund my $30 pet fee since my pet (a cat, sedated) did NOT cause any disruption to other guests nor any damage to room. 3) The coffee machine in the dining area was out of order. No coffee!!? The little in-room one worked but that's a sad substitute. 4) No ice machine on main floor; had to elevator up to 2nd floor.

I was assaulted at the bar by someone not a resident. I searched for safest BW's in the area, and called them all before arriving. The HOTEL general manager was rude post-incident. There is a guest services clerk who's exemplary, I'd move that man to a general management position immediately. All in all, it's hard to rate this hotel fairly based on an assault that may have been out of the ordinary. The location and local services are very convenient, although the immediate area, such as Walmart, Target etc. hired there workers in dirty street clothes, and it's impossible to tell if they're vagrants or employees based on professional appearance. Also check the weather. Hail and storms on top of being assaulted made sleep little to none.

Hotel is very clean and friendly. Very conveyor all shopping and restaurants. Pool area kinda small for size of hotel. Limited to outside swimming and gates are closed if pool is closed for winter even if weather is beautiful. People enjoy outside sitting.

Really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western in Kirkwood. From the warm welcome, I felt right at home. I loved the pool - clean and well stocked with towels. They are pet friendly too providing clean and comfortable rooms. Check out their in house lounge- great service!

I used to come here regularly after my shift. There is always a sloppy drunk girl in here as of lately that screams at everyone and disrupts the entire vibe of the place. She's a younger girl, but it seems she has some serious issues. They refuse to kick her out. I won't be going here anymore, they do not respect their loyal patrons.

We needed somewhere to stay that was pet friendly. My puppy had a 7am surgery. He really enjoyed his first hotel stay. It was very quiet. No issues at all. Breakfast was nice. Lots of options. Nice pool. The sliding door was great for potty breaks. We didn’t have to track through the hotel every time.

First, I’d like to say that the staff here is so friendly and helpful. We are traveling with small kids which can be challenging but the staff here are super friendly. Which is why I wish I wasn’t writing this. But the room we stayed in on our return trip was filthy. The chair smelled of sweat and the floor was so dirty that my son’s feet were black after about 2 hours of being in our room. We will find a different hotel next time we’re here.

We had a good two night stay. The hotel is conveniently located for the things we wanted to see and do. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and on par with other Best Westerns. All in all it was a good stay and we would stay here again if we are in the area.

We had to stop in St Louis on family business. The staff is very friendly and helpful- quick thinking. Having a lounge and restaurant right on site and stores a minute away is a plus after a long travel. Rooms are comfortable and quiet and the pool looks inviting.
