El Cantarito mexican Cuisine

Very good food with lots of flavor. I got the grilled chicken and tortillas, and everything was really fresh. The salsa was nothing to write home about, but the queso dip was hot and delicious! 😋

The carne asada was very flavorful, but the meat was a bit tough. The pico de gallo was suspect (was it frozen at some point?). Service could use an attitude adjustment (or maybe it was just a bad day, but don't take it out on me). Atmosphere was good. I'd stop here again.

I've had many enchiladas at many Mexican restaurants, and the ones I had here were some of the best I've had in my decades of living, if not the best I've ever had. Great service! Great atmosphere!

It was pretty good stuff. Yeah, it's not super flavorful, but you've gotta ask for that, in general, at a Mexican restaurant in my experience. Great staff.

Walked over from the Depot Inn. Excellent food, The chips and salsa were good. We had seafood pates,, they were very good with large portions. The Flan is one of the best Flan I've ever had. When we sat down, we bother ordered margaritas. The waiter asked us if we wanted small, medium or large. We didn't ask how big large was, since we were walking we said large. It's hard to tell from the pictures but they have to be the largest margaritas I've ever seen. It was really good too.

The staff was very nice and friendly but a whole bunch of kids(teenagers) came in and were being boisterous I got fajitas and the shrimp was tender but the steak and chicken was a little tough but the guacamole was excellent

10/10 recommend!! Samuel and his staff are amazing!!! The food was fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. not too spicy and not bland! The Berria tacos are sooo delicious and tender. The cook even came out and visited with us and checked on us. Samuel has a great team. I hope those on the fence about stopping in here will decide to give it a chance because it really is good food and good people. The guy who does the liquor license is on vacation but is back this week. won't be long and they'll have the new liquor license to serve alcohol under the new restaurant name. I realize this place seems to have many owners lately but give it a chance. Samuel has managed this location for a while and is starting his own place let's show him our support!!!! ❤️

Excellent food. Good service. Prices comparable to my favorite place in Arizona.

What a gem of a restaurant in a small town! Portions were substantial, the food was tasty, and service was on-point -- even with our surprise group of 10-12 people. Highly recommended!
