Very quaint place to eat. Not very busy on a Sunday. Plenty of parking. Looks a little run down, but that's because most of the town is a little run down. Very pleasant waitress and the food arrived quickly. One drawback is they do not accept credit/debit cards. It's cash only at this place. Food was good and plentiful.

Everyone in our party had chicken in one form or another (sandwiches and strips). We ate some of the fries and the onion rings, but the chicken was like school cafeteria “mechanically separated” chicken patties. We were very disappointed and ended up getting food somewhere else in another town. Obviously the restaurant is popular. It was full the entire time. But we probably made a mistake not ordering breakfast or a burger since that seemed to be what everyone else was getting.
The service was friendly and timely. But … I didn’t leave a tip. We didn't realize they don’t accept debit/credit and none of us had cash. I paid by check and only afterward thought about the tip. I was flustered by the experience and almost having to let a friendly local stranger pay for our meal. So, I’m extremely sorry for what must have been perceived as our rudeness for not tipping.
I’m willing to give this place another try for breakfast or a burger, but never again will we try the chicken. I have to go back someday anyway and square things away with the tip.
