Been to the lake many times and this was the first time we had been here. The food, atmosphere, and service was excellent. Sandy was a great server and hopefully we will have her next time we go
4 of us for dinner last night. Everyone of us are still talking about our experience here today. 2 had the special Sea bass with lobster bisque cream sauce that was absolutely delicious. Guys loved their Chicken piccata and medallions. Service by Merrill was our fabulous waiter! I’d give 10 ? if I could!

I have had Bentley’s saved on my list of “Places to Go” for a few years now, and finally found the time to stop in for dinner with my wife.
The decor is very Old World and creates a warm and welcoming feeling as soon as you walk through the front door. We had a reservation for 6:30, and got seated immediately, by 7pm, the restaurant was packed. I’d recommend making a reservation. They also have a very nice patio with a great view of the lake, would recommend sitting out on the patio if the weather allows.
Our staff was very friendly, informed us of the specials and took our order. Our food was out within 15 mins of being ordered.
My wife had the grilled shrimp with asparagus and hollandaise sauce and I ordered the Texas Cut Prime Rib with roasted garlic potatoes.
The prime rib was very flavorful and had a great salt seasoning. My potatoes were cooked perfectly as well. My wife’s shrimp with very flavorful and the asparagus was fantastic.
The only thing I’m upset about, is it took me far too long to get to Bentley’s for the first time. Highly recommend and will be back again very soon.

I love this place. I hadn’t been in several years and should not have waited this long.
Everyone in our party ordered different dishes and drinks and everything was top notch quality and preparation. (Au Gratin is soooo good)
Service was on-point.
To call the atmosphere “old school” would be dismissive. Perfectly dimly lit (but not dark) and gives a fantastic vibe.
We loved everything about Bentleys.

We chose to dine here based on reviews, and sadly we weren’t overly impressed. We ordered the Texas cut of prime rib medium rare and it was medium well, with no pink. The filet special with Gouda was good, but the order of baked potato with butter and no sour cream was served with sour cream. The pecan ball for dessert was smothered in whipped cream, but the chocolate and pecan coating was bland. The bourbon on the rocks was served with chipped ice and not a large single cube. Our server, while nice, wasn’t as thorough with the menu and off menu items as the other servers we overheard.
The view was nice and the outdoor seating area looked appealing for a spring or fall day to dine outdoors.

We come to lake of the Ozarks every year for a couple of weeks. Bentleys is my favorite place by a mile. I would go every night if my wife would let me. Ha. Great steaks and shrimp cocktail. And desserts !!! Ask for Steve. He has been there for something like 25 years. He has a salad dressing mix that combines his two favorite. Unreal. We take it home.
