Family owned, delicious flavor, fair prices, open late!
After a terrible experience at Encore (see my other review), our hunger was satisfied by the friendly people at Carribean Mix.
Carribean Mix isn't going to be your fancy dinner setting; but if you'd like to just get some good food at a fair price and then enjoy all the fun bars at Bagnall Dam, this is a good choice. They are in a building with maybe 4-5 other places, including a liquor store next door. I had the wings with Buffalo sauce and it was delicious.

Really really good, but also pretty tiny. FYI, they don't serve alcohol here. We came in right after a party of about 20 people had ordered (and that's about half the seating). So it took a bit for the kitchen to keep up. The food was amazing. The menu was on the smaller side, but they had dishes not in the menu. Even people who were more picky found something they could enjoy. Well worth the wait.

This little gem of a restaurant is a must have if you want authentic ethnic food! We had the Caribbean Jerk Wrap and built a bowl with the special rice, pork, veggies and red beans. It was phenomenal! The owner shared her restaurant journey with us and we thoroughly enjoyed her energy and story. The chef came out to check on our satisfaction and she was also so excited to make us happy. We will be back when we are back here for vacation! Support this small business so they're here for many years to come!

Dined here on a Wednesday night during the Shootout Boat Parade. We arrived before the crowds. Small dining room with some counter seating as well. Wings were on special for $1 each (6six minimum). We ordered Jamaican Jerk spiced and another order with Garlic Parm. Both were good, super meaty and lots or sauce, although my preference was the Jerk sauced. The rice balls are huge, stuffed with meat and cheese. They stole the show. My wife and I split the burger (1/2 pound of meat, thick (like 1/2”) slice of fried cheese and plantain) on a delicious bun. Even half was a lot to eat. Our 18 year old son also ordered the burger and took half home.
Service was good, but only one server running everything (maybe the owner?) so a little slow as the dining room filled up.
We’ll go back for sure. The menu in August 2024 is different than what was posted here on Google Maps when we dined with fewer entrees.
Also, only soft drinks, but if the dive bar next door is open you can buy a drink there and carry it back through the shared patio door.

The waitress was the nicest human I think I've ever met and the chef was so kind and the food was phenomenal. All around such a fun and pleasant experience. We even had our 4 kids with us and they went above and beyond for us
