JJ Twigs Pizza & Pub

I can see why the place is for sale. Our food was mediocre and the owner is sitting at the bar drinking. An owner drinking at the bar shows he doesnt care(have you not seen kitchen nightmares or bar rescue?). We overheard the owner talk about greenbay packers so my mom(being born in wisconsin) got all excited and asked 'green bay?' while the owner just completely ignored her. The bartender did help us and was nice but it did seem like he'd rather talk to the owner and his party. I overheard a customer or waitress talking to the bartender about a problem with the bar fridge under the register. Every place gives you 1 free sauce with your chicken strips but not this place, my sauce wasnt on the ticket but they charged my mother for both of her sauces so she didnt get a free one with her meal. The bartender took our empty food trays but we were waiting longer then 30 mins for our ticket and still had to ask for it. You should just shut down while your trying to sell it...

great place to eat and the dynamite sticks are fantastic some of the best appetizers I've ever had service was awesome too

Stopped in during the motorcycle rally for dinner since it was off the strip a little bit and seemed less crowded. Great quiet atmosphere. The waitress talked us into trying the "dynamite sticks" appetizer and sure glad she did! They were fantastic! Got a pizza as well and had a couple drinks. The waitress was also super friendly and came by often to check on us. Will definitely go back when we visit the Ozarks again!

I had lunch here today. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked.
I had their special grilled Jerk Chicken and Onion Rings for the side. I was hoping for inhouse battered. Fresh and hot. Cool place! My highlight was Jackie my waitress! She was awesome!! Very engaging and great service!! I will stop in and try the pizza sometime!

Pizza was good, but if it is served on cardboard it probably wasn't made in restaurant.

Please understand that we do tend to be compassionate to the staff when they seem to be overly busy and understaffed, but that did not seem to be the case in this instance.

Outside advertises BBQ, but the only 'BBQ' on the menu was a pulled pork sandwich. Said sandwich had no authentic smoked flavor, simply cooked and pulled meat.
Service was less than satisfactory. They were not terribly busy when we arrived at 5:30. We started out waiting on the hostess for about 5 minutes to have the bartender seat us. (The bartender is not included in this review. She seemed to be picking up the slack for everyone around her.) We ordered a cocktail along with 3 waters, the cocktail came to the table several minutes before the waters.
After ordering, the food came out in a relatively timely manner. When we paid our bill, we waited no less than 10 minutes for our change. The service was nearly terrible.

This place understands gluten free! Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and knew the options available. My goodness! The pizza and ribs were fantastic! Highly recommended!

Great waitress was super nice. I wish I had gotten her name. My husband had the chicken sandwich, which he said was good. I had the loaded Philly, and it was the best I had ever had. The bread was soft, and the toppings were flavorful. We played golden tee but there were other games too.

Would have actually left a review but can’t because we couldn’t get served at 8:30 on a Thursday. No idea how this place stays in business.

Great place to visit when your at the lake. All of our meals were great and our server Jessie did an amazing job she was very sweet and attentive even tho they were very busy.
