We visited this town this weekend. We were just looking for a nice place to stop for lunch. This place is amazing!. Excellent conversation excellent staff. There is one Cook- making everything-and he was fast, efficient and very kind. This place will definitely be on our agenda for the next visit to the Omariās!

It's a decent bar...and a hard place for me to review...simply because it's a Hawkeye Bar...uggh. As an Iowa State Cyclone, I should have given it a rivalry negative...but that wouldn't have been fair or Iowa Nice. Lol

The workers here were extremely rude. We were parked in the parking lot for less than an hour. Mind you, when we first parked, a man came out asking my husband to pull his truck forward a bit so he could still get to the trash so we obliged. Less than an hour later, we came back to a woman coming out, screaming at us. āWE DONT WANT YOUR BUSINESS! GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE WE CALL THE POLICE AND WRITE YOUR LICENSE PLATES DOWN!ā My sister had said that there was no signs saying we couldnāt park and we didnāt know. The female bartender continued to scream at us, ripping a sign out of the ground from the back, where you couldnāt even see it and dragging it out to the road. A business shouldnāt be ran like that. Period.

Beware of crazy bartender, she was out front smoking. Cussed my entire family out, screaming at us. Would never return. Clearly the place had no business from the poor attitude of the staff.

We have been coming down to the Lake of the Ozarks for years ,and lucky has always been a great place to go but this memorial day weekend 2025 we had a horrible experience with the service. The bartender was very rude and hateful to my family and my self ,and as of now we probably will not return..

Just moved here a month ago, and already this bar reminds me of home! Fantastic atmosphere for Hawkeye games! If you love the Hawkeyes or Chiefs football, this is the place for you. The owners are absolutely welcoming and the staff is great! Not to mention their karaoke nights are so welcoming and friendly!
