“They had outdoor seating near the swimming pool for the inn. The view was spectacular. Kenzie was an excellent server. She was knowledgeable about the daily special and helped guide us to the perfect bottle of wine. We enjoyed a meat and cheese board. Those marinated olives were wonderful.“

“I've been here three or four times. Since 2023. They are a very friendly family. You will hear them laughing while making your food. You can tell they love what they do and do it welk together as a family. The food is eso estuvo delicioso. Absolutely delicious. I put them right up there with El Tapatio Taqeuria inside the mall in Jefferson City. If you are looking for fast, great tasting authentic Mexican. This place and the one at Jefferson City. I mention are the spots to go. Absolutely phenomenal tasting food. If you are ever down here at the Lake of Ozarks. It's off the KK exit.“

The custom jackhammer with cheesecake and a caramel centered was delicious but their gooey butter cake concrete was TO DIE FOR! I've never had gooey butter cake in custard and man oh man will I be back through for that again before my trip is over!!“

“On 9/12/2025 my husband and I were having dinner at Papa Chubbys. We were there on our motorcycle as it is Bikefest weekend at the lake. My husband had a medical emergency as we were eating. There was not a person that was working there that did not jump in to help us. Our waitress was amazing. The girls that came from behind the bar to call 911, and help us, were amazing. The gentleman that brought candy and a cupcake to help get his blood sugar up, was amazing. The people sitting at the table next to us, I am not sure what I would have done without their help in that moment. They kept me calm, they helped me take care of him. Everything. This place, the staff, the people are absolutely top notch. We will be spending more time and money going forward at Papa Chubbys. Thank all of you for everything.“

“The brisket was wonderful but the baked beans were horrible. The corn bread was dry and I was expecting a big piece of cornbread like when he was in Camdenton! It’s not quite what it used to be! But meat was delicious!“

“My friends and I were going hiking in Ha Ha Tonka State Park and needed lunch provisions, so I suggested Dierberg’s Market. I remember it being such a great option the last time I’d visited Osage Beach, and I was not disappointed. Its selections were as bountiful as I remember, and EVERYONE was so helpful! The manager (Ro Witt, I believe) was up at the front and directed us to all the aisles where we’d find what we were looking for; Loretta in Health and Beauty helped us with our supplements questions and was a hoot to talk with; and the two ladies in the Deli section were SO helpful—one came out from behind the counter to help us locate the specific types of sandwiches we were looking for. The three of us ended up with a sushi plate, a chicken wrap, and a market-made roast beef sandwich. We also picked up fresh fruit and—of course—two silly soaps to give as souvenirs. Jack checked us out up front and was lovely to chat with as he rang up our purchases. We’re all from Kansas City, and my two friends kept remarking how impressed they were with Dierberg’s offerings and how wonderful everyone was on staff. And that’s why I’ll return to Dierberg’s every time I’m in the area!“
