I love food and if you’re looking for a lot of it, this is your spot. I feel like the pictures don’t do it justice, but the size of their portions is insane (in a great way)! This was my first time here and by far my favorite breakfast spot to hit when I’m down here!

I was in Lake Ozark for a week filming a movie and ended up at The Rusty Rooster for breakfast three times — and I can honestly say it became one of the highlights of my trip. The food is beyond delicious (every plate felt like the perfect start to the day), but what really stood out was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Huge shoutout to Kale, Emily, and Jimi for their friendly service — they made me feel right at home every single visit. And a massive thank you to Angela for not only her kindness but also the adorable Rusty Rooster merch (I couldn’t resist!). If you’re in Lake Ozark, do yourself a favor and stop here for breakfast. Amazing food, even better people. Can’t wait to come back!

The Rusty Rooster has wonderful food and a wonderful staff. The Biirria Grilled Cheese was F’N 🔥. Do yourself a favor and try it out.

It is well worth the wait to go to the Rusty rooster. We did find out however that they do take reservations. Once inside, you're seated and a waitress takes your order. Your food arrives quickly, like within 10 minutes. We went two times during our stay in the Ozarks and had good experiences both times.

Fast service, fresh delicious food, friendly servers. We sat at the bar on a busy Sunday and it was an awesome experience. We will be back!

This place is consistently excellent! The staff is friendly, the food is outstanding, and the wait is ALWAYS worth it ( though we rarely have to wait ) this is my absolute favorite breakfast at the lake.

Long wait for a table on a Sunday morning, which I wouldn't have minded if the food were better; but it was mediocre at best.

I had the corned beef hash, which was both chewy and sparse among the giant breakfast potatoes. Potatoes should have been cut much smaller to blend in with the hash, but they appeared to be cut in quarters. Also, my over-easy eggs were overcooked, as neither yolk broke.

My wife liked her meal a little better, but there was nothing special about either breakfast.

Waited well over estimated wait time and were not sat.

Wow!! Ate here for the first time. It is now a must go to place anytime we are in town. Food was amazing and can custimize almost anything to your liking. Service was spot on.

In town for bike trip and chill poolside. wait was worth it with great bloody mary. Food was fantastic. I had corn beef hash with potatoes/onion/pepper and eggs. Real corn beef, super helping. .

We got seated right away.Food came in 5 mins we had 6 people so super fast.Great food amazing kids meal.
