Barn-B-Que is a must-visit if you're looking for quality BBQ in a laid-back, welcoming setting at the Lake of the Ozarks. We had a fantastic meal here with a great mix of meats and sides that showcased their pitmaster skills.

We ordered a variety of dishes to sample the menu, including the brisket bowl, a 1-meat dinner with turkey, a 1-meat platter with brisket, and brisket tacos. The brisket was outstanding—tender, smoky, and full of flavor. The turkey was moist and perfectly seasoned, and the brisket tacos were a standout, offering a fresh twist with bold flavor and great texture.

The sides were just as enjoyable. The tater tots were crispy and addictive, the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the fried okra was golden and satisfying. Each side complemented the meats perfectly, rounding out a hearty and delicious meal.

One of the highlights was the selection of house-made sauces. Each of us found a favorite among them—pineapple habanero for a sweet-heat kick, classic hot for spice lovers, white sauce for something tangy and unique, and the sweet BBQ for a traditional touch. The sauces elevated every bite and added a fun, personalized element to the meal.

The atmosphere at Barn-B-Que is fun and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. With generous portions, great service, and a location that captures that classic lake-town charm, Barn-B-Que delivers a fantastic BBQ experience. We’ll definitely be back!

It was okay. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the barn burner sandwich, with two drinks and a side of fried okra was $50 after tip.

It wasn't worth it. The fries were terrible. The pulled pork was decent and the barn burner was all bread.

Also not one person in the open kitchen area had their hair restrained. Just gross. We should have went to Lil Rizzos next door that was packed with people after 1pm.

A wonderful barbecue restaurant that you need to check out near the Lake of the Ozarks is Barn-B-Que. We went to another restaurant next door for dinner and we knew we had to come back for Barn-B-Que the next day! We stopped in for brunch and really enjoyed the pulled pork breakfast sandwich. The pancakes are fluffy and taste delicious! Barn-B-Que has the cutest interior with a rustic and country vibe to it. Check out Barn-B-Que near the lake next time you are craving BBQ!

Food was not the best. Pulled pork seemed like it came out of a crockpot. The brisket was tough and didn’t have much of a smoke ring. The turkey was dry and cold. We could not taste smoke in any of the meats. Not good bbq if you have to soak the meat in bbq sauce. The sides were the best part. The server was great.

The best aspect of this location is the atmosphere. The high rafters have an aesthetic of their own that's somewhat industrial, somewhat steampunk, and somewhat agricultural.

The food is good. Expect the quality to match the average standalone barbecue restaurant. Nothing that my wife and I had made us feel this place stood out culinarily, but we did not regret stopping in.

If you are in the area and are craving some BBQ, I suggest giving them a try.

This place was a very awsome place to visit and sit down and have a good BBQ sandwich. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere.

We went yesterday for the first time. our waitress was friendly, and our food came out quickly. I got the Carolina with fries and my husband got a sandwich that had brisket and a jalapeno cheddar brat on it (I forget the name) and a loaded baked potato. Both sandwiches were delicious! I personally wasn't a fan of the fries, I prefer them crisper and would like them better without the seasoning. My husband loved the fries though. Great portions, the sauce was delicious. we will definitely be back.
