Love them, but frustrating when they say they’re open on Sundays right now and they most definitely aren’t. Called and no one answered so I figured they were just busy and drove all the way to the strip to find out they were closed. So glad I didn’t order for pick up in DoorDash since they also show open on there and I would’ve paid for food to find out it was never being made. Really need to update your hours.

The food was over priced. The flavors were lacking and it didn’t live up to what the flavors said on the menu. The people on the phone were nice enough. The pork skewers were very dry and lacked flavor. We ordered Spicy fried rice and it just looked like they threw chili flakes in it. Overall very disappointed.

Food was a bit bland. Going to give it another try and request spicier. Requested medium, but did not seem spicy.

I’ve been to dozens of Thai restaurants around the country and world. This was NOT good authentic Thai food. VERY lacking in flavor. Good service and atmosphere but the food really missed the mark. Won’t be back.

General chicken and egg rolls were great, but pad Thai not so good.

We grabbed food for my gf. They can and do make food gluten free, although it comes bland and just not worth the cost.
A wall of awards, but im not certain we will return.

Food was great! That spicy fried rice is soooo good. Don’t sleep on this place. The pad Thai could’ve been spicier though. Spring rolls were hot and crispy and had a nice flavor too!

I've had Thai at many better palces, but there aren't any other Thai options at The Lake. This place will do if you're craving Thai food, but it's nothing like what you can get in Kansas City, STL, Jeff City, Springfield, or Columbia, MO.
The food at Wok n Roll Thai is absolutely amazing—fresh, vibrant, and full of bold, authentic flavor. It hits that perfect balance of comforting and exciting, with every dish tasting like it was made with care. But beyond how delicious everything is, what truly makes this place a five-star gem for me is what doesn’t happen after I eat here: I don’t get sick.
Living with alpha-gal syndrome means navigating a minefield of hidden pork products and beef-derived ingredients. One wrong bite and I’m down for the count. But Wok n Roll has been a total game-changer. Their vegetarian options are abundant, satisfying, and—best of all—safe. The food is clean, not greasy, and doesn’t leave me feeling heavy or symptomatic.
The staff is knowledgeable and kind, and I never feel like a burden when asking allergy-related questions. This restaurant has brought joy (and flavor) back into eating out.
The yellow curry was very good.
