Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

We ate at Freddy's in Dothan, AL on opening day and it was magnificent! The burgers were some of the best I've ever tasted. The staff was friendly, courteous, efficient, and absolutely handled the overwhelming crowd with patience, style, and smiles all around. Even with a line of cars backed up thirty-deep onto Ross Clark Circle and customers stacked out the doors, we waited less than ten minutes for our food. It was hot, juicy, and delicious. We'll be regulars, and we can't recommend them highly enough. Even during the new Dothan restaurant rush, it's well worth battling the crowd, so do yourself a favor and park across the street if you must. You'll enjoy the experience. Ignore the calorie count and just have a great time with the burgers and frozen custard. You'll be glad you did!

A new restaurant opened in our city a little more than a month ago. My grandson raves about their food. I signed up on their app and just yesterday received an email promoting a BOGO for their limited Bbq Brisket Steakburger. With that offer I decided to try them out and ordered two of those along with another plain steakburger, fries and onion rings. When I arrived at the restaurant the app said that the order was not yet prepping so I just sat down to wait. A few minutes later the app showed the order prepping and then a few minutes later it showed ready. Since I had sat down there had been about three or four online orders that the staff had called out as ready with the names of the people but I never heard my name called. After a few minutes I finally went to the register and asked the girl there about my order showing her the screen where it said it was ready. She asked my name and then with my reply she said “oh, we don’t have any brisket, would you like something else”? Now it was already about 5 minutes past when I had set my pickup time so I told them a substitute for the two emailed promotional items, but the girl told me it would be a few minutes because they were backed up. I sat back down and waited. About 10 minutes later another girl came out and asked if I need something since she had seen me sitting for a long time. I told her I was waiting on an online order for the bbq brisket steakburger replacements and she said they were wrapping that up then. About three or four minutes later she came out with a sack, handed it to me and asked if I had any sauces on my order, which I thought was a bit strange but it was already more than 15 minutes past may original pickup time and I said I wasn’t sure and I didn’t want to check. I took the bag and went to my car, and drove off. But while leaving I thought “I wonder if everything is in the bag that I ordered”? I checked and found it missing the plain steakburger and fries, so I turned the car around and back into the restaurant. I handed the girl at the counter the sack told her of the shortages and explained I just wanted a refund. She called another girl over, they took pictures of my order on my app, messed around the register, then the second girl got her phone and called the manager. She explained what happened and then told me the only way I could get a refund was to go through the app and request that as they could not do anything for me because the order was placed online. Needless to say, I won’t be back! Oh yeah, I still haven’t heard back from Freddys on my request.

Oh my gosh their food is so good! I haven't even tried their frozen custard yet. My brother is in a wheel chair and they are very accessible.

Not planning on mobile ordering through the app again and seriously questioning whether I’ll be back in store (Crystal lake). The double burger was soggy and the fries had none of the Freddy’s spice on them and were cold. Even tho marked normal spice on the app they were bland. Do you have to mark extra to get it at all? I pulled into the lot as the app said my food was ready so not a timing issue. Ugh I ate it but what a waste of $.

Went to our local new location on Washington rd in Augusta ga. The food was extremely salty, and the workers seemed bothered. The floor was so slippery. My husband almost fell. And than while walking out the door the floor was so slippery my son stepped on the rug, it moved and he fell out the door, skinned up his knees and hurt his arm. The workers just looked and went back to talking. No one asked if he was okay. And to mention today was his 13th birthday. We will never step foot in this place again. Stop using the same mop to mop the back and front. The floors are covered in grease and slippery. Ruined my son’s birthday. And teach your employees to check on people when they get hurt. 😞

Freddy’s ( Sioux City, Iowa )…first time we have been here. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly and fast. I was nervous going in because the drive thru was so long, but they were still fast at serving us….and the food was AMAZING! We will definitely be back!
