This is the slowest smoothie king I’ve ever been to. It gets worse everytime we come. I don’t usually write reviews at all but this is insane. You will be waiting 20+ minutes for one smoothie. Don’t waste your time.

Won’t be coming to this location for quite a while at least until the staff changes. Consistently messing up on people’s orders. I don’t know if they don’t know how to read the receipt that literally outlines one yellow scoop one and a half scoops of this, but they still can’t seem to get it down. Very sad the owner should consider getting better managers that can train better.

I’ve gone to Smoothie King every single morning for about five years, and normally I stick to two reliable locations. But on weekends, I end up at this one — and honestly, I regret it every time.

This location is consistently staffed with a group of high-schoolers who move like they’re half-asleep, and the service shows it. Every visit is a 15–20 minute ordeal, and more often than not they have to remake my smoothie because they forget ingredients. Today wasn’t any different — the girl at the register had to scan my app six times and still couldn’t get the register to work right. At that point, most businesses would comp the smoothie, but apparently customer experience here isn’t even an afterthought.

Before anyone assumes I’m exaggerating, go ahead and check my account — I’ve spent over $700 at Smoothie King just in the last month. I’m not some once-a-week customer complaining over nothing. I use Smoothie King more than most people even use their gym memberships.

What blows my mind is that the location I go to during the week runs two employees, handles triple the volume, and still gets customers in and out in 5–10 minutes. Meanwhile, this store has four people standing around and manages to be slower than molasses in winter.

To top it off, while I was waiting today, a woman from the drive-through had to walk inside because her smoothie was missing extra chocolate she specifically asked for. This is a regular thing here — sloppy, careless, and just not paying attention.

The owner clearly doesn’t care, because if he did, he wouldn’t let the place get run into the ground by people who treat the job like background noise. With a drive-through and good traffic, this location should be a gold mine. Instead, it’s a masterclass in how to waste potential through slow service and zero urgency.

This store desperately needs real management, real training, and people who actually give a dang.

Wow!!! The attitude of the employees is horrible. The food safety is even worse. From scratching their hair with bare hands over food and not washing, to throwing things. Absolutely needs some leadership.

Literally sat in drive thru for 20 min. I had a reward for free smoothie annnnd it didnt come off when she scanned my qr code. And yes I had it marked right in the app to redeem. There is literally a problem every single time we come to this location. Lake St Louis location

Horrible. Waited over 10 minutes in the drive thru lane for two smoothies(Only ones in the lane). Then received said drinks, they were half blended, missing ingredients. Srsly, don’t go here.

I usually come there quite often and most of the time it’s been really good. Recently it seems like it’s just not good anymore. Last week it took 30 min from when i got in the drive thru to when i got my order with one car in front of me, granted there probably is people walking into the store. But today was actually weird. To be fair the person in front of me ordered like 6 smoothies. When i got to the window they completely lost my order which is whatever cause it’s only one smoothie but it was supposed to be angel food which is bananas and strawberries and the color of the smoothie is usually pink cause i only have ordered that smoothie. they handed me a banana smoothie. I told them more than once it was an angel food as is nothing added in or nothing taken out. Not sure what’s going on over there but it’s really starting to aggravate me as this location is the only one on my way to work so it’s nice to stop there before i go to work.

Don’t bother coming here, go to Wentzville or chesterfield locations which are way better. Drive through takes 30 minutes for 2 cars, and then your smoothie order is right maybe 60% of the time.

This location is a joke. I have come here 5 times since coming back to wentzville from Florida. All these snobby high schoolers need an attitude adjustment. I start explaining to one of the staff while I’m in the drive through why I’m going to stop coming to this location the things they need to do better because it’s ridiculous. 1. Doesn’t take 5 minutes to let me know you’re busy while I’m sitting in the drive through while the drive through is empty and you’ll be with me. 2. The smoothie is always watered down, made with no care, leaking down the sides. 3. It always takes forever it does not take 10 minutes to make a smoothie while there’s 4 high schoolers sitting o their phones. 4. These high schoolers have no character or pride in their work they think you owe them something, Have a smile, all these gratified high schoolers have so sense of customer service and after I start led trying to explain why I’m going to stop coming to this location this high schooler who is not near as cute as she thinks she is, actually quite busted in the face, starts giving me an attitude asking if I want my smoothie or not and tells me to leave her drive through as I’m having an attitude with her, I walk in requesting the manager, shocker no manager in site. Boss is out of town. No business card for manager or general manager, I ask for multiple names and of course these snobby high schoolers want to hide behind anonymity. Lisa the store owner needs to get these ladies in check because it’s ridiculous and I’m sure people are tired of it.
