We had 13 folks in our group from KS and MO, and after a very warm day at Dogwood Canyon, we were served some amazing smoked brisket and turkey! The young lady serving us was very friendly and efficient! The homemade bread was out of this world, and the home-cooked food was delicious! Serving a few of our folks, who were gluten intolerant was not an issue! The folks from KS were especially very impressed!

Won’t be my last time to eat here. Catfish dinner was very good. My wife had the bbq brisket and she said it was very good as well. Definitely get the bread pudding it was great and a very large serving at that. Server was very nice as was everyone working there.

Go every Friday if we are at the lake. We eat fried fish, smoked turkey, fried shrimp.. for dessert lemon pie, strawberry rhubarb. It’s great home cooked food from a small business

So much to look at while you wait!! The service was GREAT!!! She was a special lady with a wonderful personality. We enjoyed the special of the day…. Burnt ends, but dessert stole our hearts! Several homemade delectables to chose from. Good thing we’re leaving the area tomorrow or we’d be back to try more!!! Will mark for seconds when we return.

We stopped by after spending a fabulous morning in Dogwood Canyon. My daughter and I shared the chicken cordon bleu sandwich- it was super delicious! May be the best thing we’ve had since we got to the Ozarks. The homemade chips were also incredible!

I love fried chicken & was really hoping this would be one of my new favorite places. I had heard it was like the delicious fried chicken at Silver Dollar City. It was not. The outside of the chicken was dark like it had been fried fast & at too high of a temperature. Sadly at the cost of $20 for a 3 piece all dark meat meal that wasn't good I will probably not return to try other things. Maybe it was the oil. Maybe it was the cook that night.

Looking for a place out of the Main Street and with amazing service and food? Take a scenic trip to Lampe and stop by The Fillin' Station, Lampe MO for some amazing home cooked food and bbq. We stayed nearby and wanted something that wasn’t a chain and this was a hit..everything made in house and a drive shorter than what you’d do waiting in line on the strip…first time here but we will be back! Homemade apple dumplings to go right out of the oven…owners and cooks and staff were all fantastic…
