The atmosphere can't be beat. Inside a rustic cabin/ mill with views of the amazing waterfall and stream. As well as an incredible looking wood fireplace.
The food was good for an attraction/ park. The menu is small but on theme. Overall it met expectations.
Service was good, although not exceptional.
Overall I believe it was worth the price.

Did the walk through Dogwood Canyon, great place! Stopped at the restaurant on the way out to eat and they were closed..... The hours of the park and restaurant are not the same. Was very disappointed.

The mill restaurant was excellent! We actually ate there two days in a row for lunch since we visited the park twice. The view is spectacular! We were seated right in front of the waterfall in the main dining area. There were a few items on their specials menu that weren’t available so my husband had to change his initial order but he enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and fries he got. I really liked the watermelon salad with chicken that I ordered. The first visit we got the smoked salmon dip for an appetizer and it was a generous portion and so delicious! The second visit we got the spinach artichoke dip which was also delicious and super creamy. The waitress was kind and kept our drinks full the whole time. I would go bs k anytime!

Website says last seating is at 3pm
If you go in at 2:55 they (some middle aged blonde with a messy bun at the wait here to be seated sign) will ignore you until 3pm and tell you they can't seat you because the kitchen closes at 3. Go earlier if your plan is to eat there

Good food and the service was very good and quicker than we expected. We took the horseback ride in the morning and the Tram tour in the afternoon and squeezed lunch in-between. I believe you do have to buy admission tickets into the park to get into the restaurant.

We loved the Dogwood canyon experience but the same cannot be said for the restaurant. When we got to DWC, it was 11am and they had the specials displayed next to the regular menu. It all looked great, so we decided we would stop after our hike. Upon our return, we went into the restaurant, ordered an appetizer and it was not until we ordered our main entrees, she said none of the specials were available and they forgot to take the specials down from the day before. Everything else on the menu was just sandwiches and burgers which was definitely not what we wanted and stopped in for.

It’s sad to write, but feel we have to our service and atmosphere was great. But, my husband and I both got very sick about an hour after eating at the restaurant, and it’s the only place we had eaten that day, had to be this restaurant, for us both to get sick. Hoping that clean and check the kitchen.

Main takeaway was lavender does not belong in creme brulee. Unless you are the type that enjoys drinking body wash. Other than that the
Food was good

This restaurant is in a park that costs 20$ per person to get into. They were out of burgers. Slow service. Spinach dip was good though. View of waterfall was nice.

We ate here after biking the 6 miles and it was great! The smoked fish dip was wonderful and my mom and grandma love their elk soup which came highly recommended. We also enjoyed a couple peach mules while taking in this gorgeous view. If you’re at dogwood canyon I would highly encourage you to dine here and enjoy the views!

We went there for a Tram ride and thought we would grab lunch before based on menu online. When we arrived we were told there was a Mother's Day buffet and that they didn't think the grill was available. We went inside and were told they were only offering the buffet. Since we had already checked in we decided to just stay there. We weren't told the price until after we had already started eating. $65 per adult. There were a few well flavored items but certainly not $65 a person good. (Separate taxes and a minimum 20% - 28% tip was suggested.) The dishes weren't labeled and staff was not helpful to explain anything or answer if you asked what it was.

We needed to use the elevator lift by the doors and it stopped working with my brother in it. When I asked staff for help I was told that they knew it wasn't working. Both team members that I stopped were rude and stated they knew it wasn't working properly. I said well then maybe you should put an out of order sign up so people don't use it and get stuck.

The most disappointing part was when we walked further outside we noticed that people were able to get burgers and such on the patio.

My wife and I were in-between meals and just wanted something to snack on. We shared the trout dip, which was fantastic, as we took in the views of the waterfall. The staff was very friendly and helped make our experience great! Would highly recommend.
