What a charming place for all ages! We picked 2.5 pounds of blueberries in an hour and had so much fun. Such a treat to unplug and just enjoy each other’s company. Employees were so friendly and helpful, and if I may recommend the gigantic Thunder muffins, I strongly do! We got six and ate them in 12 hours

What a great surprise! After many years of dropping my kid off at camp nearby, I finally decided to check this place out. I was expecting a kind of rinky dink little operation, but wow was I wrong. They really have their act together there. Whether you want to pick your own blueberries or buy one of their cobblers or blueberry cinnamon rolls (yes, blueberry cinnamon rolls) and comfortably eat it in their air conditioned dining room, it's all wonderful and truly top notch!

The blueberries were fat and flavorful! Sooo much better than what you buy in a store. They are sun ripened and FRESH! They also have picked berries in their fridge if you don’t want to pick them yourself, but it is more fun to pick your own. They also have blackberry and gooseberry bushes, as well as shiitake mushrooms they grow themselves and they are picked fresh every day. They also have a restaurant where you can try their fresh baked “Thunder Blueberry Muffins, cinnamon rolls, and other delicious pastries. The owner is on site, and a very nice lady!

We've always greatly enjoyed our trips to Persimmon Hill. We would always stop by after picking up the kids from summer camp, since the early 2000s, to enjoy those delicious thunder muffins! We recently stopped in to grab a couple muffins and get a box of blueberries. I highly recommend trying all the things and especially the blueberry cinnamon rolls. They are amazing! 😍
