We moved down here five years ago, I’ve been to every restaurant within 20 miles, Osage Beach etc. etc. this was the best restaurant that I’ve been to I travel all over the US and go to many many restaurant. Their food and their service was excellent better than any of the high dollar restaurant over in Osage Beach I had the 6 ounce fillet I could have cut it with a toothpick their appetizers were absolutely delicious I could recommended higher than 10.

My wife and I were big Bourbon Barrel fans when it first opened, and I did a review of 4 stars. Since it reopened, we have been there a couple of times, the most recent was yesterday (8/5/2022). Decor: Very Nice. Clean and intimate. I enjoy the eclectic bourbon themed decor, but it can get a bit loud. Service: Average. Our server was friendly and well groomed. She forgot to mention the specials and by the time we were ready to order dessert our water glasses had been empty for a while. Food: Average. We both ordered the small prime rib dinner. For my side I had a baked potato, which was very good (not dry on the inside). My wife ordered the oven baked brussel sprouts. They had good flavor but were chewy. We both had the french onion soup, which was excellent (as always). The prime rib fell short. In my last two visits I ordered the prime rib medium rare and, in both cases, it came out closer to medium. With that in mind my wife requested, her prime rib, as medium with a leaning towards medium rare (her previous experience was that she ordered her steak, medium and it came out closer to well done). I did add a fried lobster tail to my meal and I enjoyed that very much. For dessert I ordered the seven-layer chocolate cake and my wife ordered the crem brule cheesecake. My chocolate cake was very good and rich. I had to bring it home. The cheesecake was a great disappointment. We were expecting a piece of cheesecake with a top layer of caramelized sugar (as you would expect in a crem bule). Instead, it was piece of cheesecake with caramel topping Summary: For the price I am not sure it is worth another chance

I love gourmet food, reasonably priced, good portions, and a nice atmosphere. This one checks all the boxes and more! The staff are attentive and delightful, and the owner is a sweetheart. Aside from all the things you’d expect from finer dining they include lower priced, but delicious items to make it an every person menu. Great burgers & chicken strips. I don’t usually order appetizers but here I have to! They are so unique and delicious, I could eat them for my meal, except I don’t want to Moses out on the Great entrees! Highly recommend: the crab cakes (some of the best I’ve ever had) the shrimp cargo, fried rangoon that has thin sliced prime rib and cream cheese in it with a dipping sauce-delicious! The calamari, the chicken or shrimp with a bang! Entrées definitely the salmon or prime rib, my husband loves the fettuccine Alfredo. You won’t want to miss this gem, and my guess is you want to return over and over!

Reasonably priced with good food and service. It's a comfortable upscale dining experience.

Absolutely love this place. We have needed something like this on this side of the lake. I work at Coconuts and as a Kentucky kid I enjoy a good bourbon after a long day of work. Great selection, my Old Fashioned was perfect and both nights my steak was cooked a perfect Medium Rare and just delicious. Please go support these folks, I’ve been there twice this weekend and will be a regular from here on. Cheers to you all and thank you for such a great addition to this side of the lake ?

we went there for husband birthday and the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Prices a little high but we expected that. Good service and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the evening. There's several places to eat in Laurie and all good but this is fine dining at the best.

Food drinks and service were all amazing. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our table. Server did an awesome job. Food was fresh and obviously delicious. I had the steak and lobster special and escargot. Can’t wait to go back

Very basic. High prices for average food. And the wine selection is terrible. The one plus, service was great.

Food and drinks are some of the best on this side of the lake. Glad to hear they're re-opened! Hope they bring lunch back at some point, but dinner and drinks are still my main reason for going back over and over again anyways. On this side of the lake, worth stopping in.

My husband and I went to the Bourbon Barrel for dinner and cocktails. Glad we had reservations as it looked pretty full. It was quiet and decorated as a speakeasy. Soft lighting and comfortable. Our server Trace was helpful and friendly. My husband had the French onion soup and rainbow trout and I had a very fresh salad and Nashville Chicken. Delicious! For drinks... we ordered sidecars. So the bartender looked up how to make them and they were very good! They are going to put the drink on the menu . I highly recommend this place and will return for sure!
