This place! We stopped for breakfast. Hubby and I ordered eggs and bacon with a side of toast/biscuit, and cup of coffee. There was something about this place the minute I walked in. We placed our order, but before we sat down, I met Nancy, the owner. I learned the story of "A Taste of Andy." Andy is her son who died before his 7th birthday. She opened the restaurant at another location a few years later, then some years later moved to this location, just off I-44. This place feels like a touch of home, and you will experience love when you are there--in the space and in your food. Nancy makes beautiful quilts, too! THIS was a "sacred encounter."

I ordered a chef salad and asked for carrots on it. I came back to the hospital to eat my lunch and had to pick slimy fermented carrots off my salad. When I tried calling the phone said there was no voicemail. This is the SECOND time I have had spoiled food from this restaurant.
We booked Andy's 417 to cator our wedding at Mighty Oak. They made the best queso and taco's we have ever had. Nancy was so amazing to work with and listened to our ideas and any concerns we may of had. I would recommend her for any food services.
